Anyone want to start a little discussion on how long you think it will be before Peter does one of the following (no, these aren't original ideas, many of them from other Forums) Sells 22Cans to Zynga. Merges 22Cans with Microsoft. Leaves. Merges 22Cans with Microsoft. Leaves. Creates 23Cans studios. Develops Exciting and new "bankroll-to-play" games for VR Devices. Merges 22Cans with Microsoft. Stays. Designes Godus 2 and 3. Still no Oak Tree. Changes the name to Twenty Toucans and relocates to Bolivia, Produces Godus 2 and 3, gives us a Palm Tree instead. Still no Juptier-sized worlds. Remains with 22Cans and begins to Develop "GodOS" - The delicious and zen-like OS that is nearly the same as Windows, with artificially extended wait timers for everything you do! I'm so bored...

Of those options, I'd say selling to Zynga (or equivalent) is the most probable. Not even joking. The long-term intention of 22Cans is to either sell or list, and I don't see it being in a position to list anytime soon.

Why would Zynga want to buy 22Cans? They don't need the capacity as they are constantly downsizing so only value to them is in the product and even with Peter working his Ass off Godus isn't in the premier league of F2P games and the last thing they needs is another small revenue game.
Microsoft, very unlikely, it doesn't really fit anywhere in their organization. On top of reputational risk of being behind a F2P game, Godus is Apple & Android game and that's doesn't fit with their Windows phone strategy.
IPO, don't make me laugh, that boat sailed and even if Godus was a major success as has been shown by Rovio, you need a history of hits to attract the big money IPO.
Changes the name to Twenty Toucans and relocates to Bolivia, this would obviously require a major redesign to change the splash screen from "Made in Guildford" to "make in Bolivia" (because they use OO mythologies) but may work with a slight change to the business model. My idea might carry a slight risk of rotting in jail but I'm sure the testing department would consider that a improvement in working conditions.
As for GodOS and adding wait timers to do anything. I think Apple beat them to the punch and probably own the patent on that technology.

What would be cool if things don't work out? 22cans is acquired by Activision, under the Seirra Entertainment umbrella. They split the dev team to relaunch it as two separate games; Project Godus for desktop, an open-world single player God Game in the true spirit of Populous and Black & White; and Godus: Voyages for mobile, a free-to-play mini-game challenge incorporating the "Lemmings-esque" events with both single player and tiered head-to-head multiplayer races. Then they develope a third F2P online multiplayer hubworld platform called Godus: Battle of the Ages, a f2p game that puts players in the roles of Gods in competitive challenges of skill and might to reign over individual planets, or become the God of Gods to rule them all! There, fixed that. * *An idea so awesome, I liked my own post.
