I just completed burning isles but for some reason, I can't activate another voyage even though there is no available voyage  |

Or *are* there still voyages available, you just can't select any? Because if you've finished all the ones that are available then thats that. You'll have to wait untill they provide you with new voyages (I believe the default timer is 1 week before you get new ones?) |

PC version has had a couple of re-enablings of voyages after they first expired. Last week we got 3 days-ish back on some, and yesterday 6 and 4 weeks on some since their 3 days expired on Friday night/Saturday Morning.

No I believe I mean weeks, as I recall in quick drive by last night when I got the blue voyage tab of annoyance, it showed 6w 2 days for some and 4w for the others, so I've got artic voyages back again which expired for me at 2.1 I think, and another try for burning.

There is only a limited amount of voyages in the game until they release new ones or until the timers of the old ones have reset.

I am confused about voyages. I started playing about 5 days ago (android), and completed my first voyage early on. I thought it was part of the tutorial. Ever since that first voyage (there were several islands so maybe it was multiple voyages?), I only see a message saying more will be available soon - no timer, menu, info, or anything else others talk about. How would I know if there are others to complete? I guess I'm wondering if my game is broken, or if this is normal? And if it is normal, how long will I have to wait for more to be available?
I didn't care at first, but now I'm thinking voyages might be a really important part of the game. I can't find any other regular/sustainable source of in-game gems, and I'm getting stuck less than a week in. I think I really need voyages, or this game may be a bit too expensive, and/or 'casual' for me.
Any thoughts?

I think more voyages are meant to become available automatically after time has passed. Perhaps they made it so that you first have to pass a certain point before more become available. I don't know honestly, I gave up playing long ago and I don't know what they have done with the game since. I don't like the voyages at all so even if I would play I would avoid them. But there are other people here who could tell you a whole lot more about the voyages and about the newer versions of the game, so I hope at least one of them will chime in.

I'm sure its a random make the coffees and press the 'open up the voyages' button in the office.
I'm a couple of hundred bodies away from the 10k pop in weyworld which I think means I've nothing left in either world to unlock or do so I think I can safely say its not an in game trigger. In voyage terms we seem to be getting the lipstick-on-a-pig variant of older voyages not sure I've seen anything new in voyages since about 6 months ago. They have been the source of more game ending bugs for me too.

Well I've been playing for a bit over a week now and still no change. I'm guessing there was some message about it that I just skipped over at the beginning, but I can't remember.
I think I was jumping the gun a bit with the gems anyway. I have enough to get by for a while with the treasure temples I've found, as long as I don't need happy followers, and I have no problem spending some cash on gems in a few weeks if I continue. I think if spend about what it would cost to buy the game for PC I'd be fine for a long time, so I guess that's a fair balance.
The game is far more of a casual game than I thought at first, but I still like it. I've realized I only have 2 more cards to earn, and soon there may be nothing more to do but sculpt/build more, so I don't need to be in a hurry to get to content that may not even exist.
