Imagine all the fun you'd be having right now if you took the art and sculpting from Godus and threw it in a blender with this little gem.
Reprisal Universe

I've been looking forward to this for a while. You can play the guy's original Reprisal online in your browser now: www.kongregate.com/games/electrolyte/reprisal Totally a Populous homage/clone and very well done - well worth a couple of hours and reminds how disappointing Godus is.

Danjal, Reprisal Universe != Reprisal Reprisal is old and has been out for a while. Reprisal Universe is the new 'MMO'd version due out next week.

I'm just saying, why would you play the old version or wait for the steam release if you can play the steam release version already right now.

aha " Reprisal Universe Beta now included for Mac and PC!" I missed this line - I just assumed it was just the same earlier version!

So what is MMO about this?

persistent online world I believe - although I think you only battle 4 other people at once. I saw it described as a 'passive' MMO. *shrug* will see soon when I buy the steam release

I thought maybe the MMO part was a sort of joke, as it looked like it might be some small multiplayer battles with the MMO part coming in the form of scoreboards. Turns out some of the latest Pacman Arcade Edition games are MMOs by that metric!
