If so, I doubt I need to remind anyone here how well that worked out for SimCity....  I don't to be a God of this Jupiter Suburb-sized Planet anymore. |

Godus has always had a "first time online login" requirement after updates.
Apparently something to do with downloading balance files or whatnot?

if you have lag, you may want to be thinking about upgrading your hardware, there's no lag in Godus, even on high settings!!

I believe we were told at one point, Godus was online so that they could use the information for their analytics and bug detection.

dunno about that much, but then again my voyages are bugged and progress for me is slow, voyages destination appears but when i click it ticks and unticks, so im about ready to give up....

The builds are just getting worse imo. I preferred the first build to the one now even with the wrist pain I had for 2 months for after playing it. |

agreed, i might wait for a later more stable build, having the developer commentary with Peter talking me through features and giving hints and tips about some cards is cool, but, when he says your villagers should all be building, while they are you shouldn't be waiting around, do voyages, treasure hunt or crush rocks, when i have no rocks left to crush, no treasure to find and no storms bringing in new treasure and then the voyages don't work after the first one, on top of that all of my villagers are going to the Asari because my progress is so slow because i lack stickers to get with cards to progress faster and voyages play a major part in getting stickers, then i feel like i should just give up for now, restarted 3 times thinking it was a one off bug, but it's now getting annoying.

Loosing folks to astari? but aren't you buying the totally different and in no way cash shop gifts to in no way P2W buy happiness?
