In this second video of a three-part series, Peter & Jack continue to answer the cornucopia of questions submitted by the Godus community about the project's progress and what the future folds for our regenesis of the god game.
This video is almost as lengthy as the first instalment, so sit back in a comfy chair (or at least put a cushion on your seat, for heaven's sake) as we answer the questions that matter to you most.
Many thanks to Gmr Leon for collating and submitting all the questions - much obliged!

Its interesting that Peter considers sacrificing followers to be an acceptable or compelling piece of gameplay - having sacrificed literally thousands of followers to achieve the goals of timeline unlocks and excavating the hidden temples etc - I can assure him that this kind of gameplay is far from interesting.
Similarly, making multi-discipline settlements may be fiddly - but how is it more fiddly than having dozens of different types of settlements instead? Its the difference between a well thought out mechanic versus a sloppy quick fix.

Our balance ability to remove all timers makes the game 'tedious' apparently, as opposed to the current obviously non-tedious waiting for timers.

Our balance ability to remove all timers makes the game 'tedious' apparently, as opposed to the current obviously non-tedious waiting for timers. I think tedious is the wrong word there, I think considering his followup of frantic that the word he may have preferred to say was hectic, but it is funny that that's the word that first came to mind. I get the feeling they misunderstood Digital Jam's question there, a little, but to be honest, I think we discussed it before for those very reasons and he didn't bring in the adjusted version of the question from his own thread in and I didn't think to point it out, so kind of a mixed bad on our part there.

I got the feeling they did not understand a lot of our questions in this one. Being around here and seeing the issues re-hashed over the year it is hard to break them down into a short "easy" question.

You can always ask follow-up questions for further clarity when we come to do the follow-up livestream Q&A via Twitch (ETA TBC).

Being around here and seeing the issues re-hashed over the year it is hard to break them down into a short "easy" question. Yeah. That's what took us so long to collect these questions in part. You could probably go on and on with a more thorough description of concerns and then a question at the end encapsulating those concerns, but that's entirely untenable for a format like this.
