Hello,
Does anybody know how to restart Godus on Android?
I've made a few mistakes and would like to start from scratch.
Tried data wipe, looked for a data folder but didn't find any.
The metod given by 22cans for Godus mobile (uninstall/reinstall) didn't work.
I even tried to get rid of all followers, hoping for a Game Over, but they just respawn on starting location.

Hi, I just found a way to restart godus on android. I dont know if this works on IOS thou.
Heres what I did in order:
1) Removed all accounts synced to my phone.
2) Factory reset my phone
3) Installed Godus
4) Created new google account
5) Game resets
Hope this helps.

I would love to restart. I figured I would be able to play a bit to learn and then start right (like most games) but I can't. I appreciate that zannozyja posted a solution, but I will not factory reset my phone, create a new google acct, wipe all synced accounts etc. That is a ridiculous expectation for a restart.
I have uninstalled the game, and deleted data etc, but when I start again, I am right where I left off. I never even created an acct for the game. I'm not of facebook, so I am sort of creeped out by how it remembers me actually.
Maybe it's because I have other Mobage games on my phone? No idea, but would love a realistic solution.

We used to have an in game reset option (in PC) if we are forced by google account linkage over and above the potential FB or google play linkage to such ludicrous steps it will all end in tears. I'd not have expected it to be terribly difficult in development terms, either to enable a reset in game or to more easily disassociate the google linkage.

Since there is no multiplayer implementation as of yet there is no reason why a player shouldn't be allowed to just reset their game.

I installed clean master and it cleaned out leftover files. After disconecting accounts( google and facebook) I uninstalled the game. Then cleaned with clean master. Then reinstalled. Now if your connected to google go into and disconect game but wait an hour after before reinstalling game. It takes an hour to reset on their server.

There is an easier way. Go to Google Play. Uninstall the game in my apps go to All Apps and find Godus. Click on the X button. IT will del it from the list. Install one more time Godus. Turn it on and at the begining it will ask if you want to start a new game have a nice play |

There is an easier way. Go to Google Play. Uninstall the game in my apps go to All Apps and find Godus. Click on the X button. IT will del it from the list. Stop there and download a game instead of Godus. |
