Hmm. I missed this one a few weeks ago. I'm very interested to hear this particular tale some day. maybe 1 day he'll register here to spil the beans? Yes, indeed. Maybe some day. I wonder if he ever checks this forum.

If those reasons ever dissolved, I'd be glad to hear what he has to say on the matter, especially the facts, as Fabs graciously pointed out.

Facts...who's kidding who here?
It is beyond a fact that I got misled and defrauded of my cash. It is spin to say or infer in anyway I did not.

First Kristin and now Jemma? Granted it's that time of year when people seem to move on from 22Cans (just about every year's end, someone leaves), but I still see that as a sign that our predictions of "things to come" have been pretty spot on. Maybe it's just "coincidence" with the timing, however there's a fine line between happenstance and a foreseeable consequence - especially when examining the past experience combined with recent events, in regards to the timing of thier departure. Despite the job ad, and perhaps the company's "intent" to carry on development (be it Godus or The Trail), it's not boding well from this vantage. Also, I can already see the repeat of some new dev coming in all freshfaced and full of aspirations, only to find themselves in the same pickle thier predecessor left. Poor fool knows not what horrors await.

I thought they already had thier Xmas celebration last week; How much partying can one office have? I'm seriously thinking I need to move to the UK...

The Producer job ad focuses on someone with mobile experience, so if it hasn't already be confirmed that The Trail would be a mobile game I'd call this fairly definitive evidence. I don't think Jemma is leaving though, it looks like she was just putting the word out about the position. The fact that 22Cans is rehiring the role is an indication that they're not doing too badly right now.
The job ad includes this gem: "The Producer will be responsible for managing the studios development cycle and schedules to ensure that major release dates are delivered upon. At the same time quality must be maintained to the highest level within agreed budgets." I'd say 22Cans could definitely use a few more people with these competencies!

I didn't take this as a sign of Jemma leaving just yet but you may be on to something. Ah, yeah, true. I just made an assumption based on her current position and the ad being for a Producer. So, I could be wrong and unfairly jumping to conclusions. Guess we'll find out. The Producer job ad focuses on someone with mobile experience, so if it hasn't already be confirmed that The Trail would be a mobile game I'd call this fairly definitive evidence. Well, either way, I still take it as a sign that they're preparing things, and that it is a signal they may be dumping Godus as soon as things are up and running with the new game. I'm just so low on optimism for Godus that all I see is Doom and Gloom now when it comes to anything they do. It sucks, and I'm not proud of this feeling, but it's not any fault of mine...

Oh, I have no optimism at all for Godus. It's an unfinished shitty game. When (if ever) it's finished, it will be a "finished" shitty game. It's not going to have even half the stuff that was promised. I am looking forward to seeing whatever horrible, cop-out, compromised solutions 22Cans comes up for fulfilling the backer rewards whilst putting themselves to the least amount of trouble. The in-game familiars, for example. Who wants to take a punt on this? I'm thinking either a static 'shrine of familiar' type thing, or a re-skinned follower with slightly skewed AI.
22Cans has put a lot of extra energy into communication over the last few months, but it's all worthless if what's being communicated turns out to be bullshit. The only half-decent thing that has actually been developed is the BFE. All the rest of it (talk of commitment to the PC sprint and making Godus awesome and whatever) has all amounted to nothing. And now, just on the cusp of yet another "we're actually gonna do the PC sprint for reals this time!", we've learned about this other game PM has come up with. And PM calls the shots, so when he comes into the studio one day and tells everyone to drop Godus and focus on the Trail, that's it.
My continued interest in Godus is seeing the drama unfolding and seeing how it all works out for 22Cans. It's a perfect example of Kickstarter and Early Access screwing consumers in a way that should not be legal, and I'm hoping that when this concept has matured the legal system will catch up.
Anyway, this is a huge digression from 'tweets' so my apologies.
