How to do this without going into app manager? I mean there should be a setting in the game GUI not rely on android to achieve this. Lazy development

I'm not sure what you mean regarding push notifications, but I can tell you that there probably isn't an option to disable those in-game.

Push notifications are those pop-up messages you get on your phone telling you something about a game or app.
Example: In farmville you get notifications when your crops are ready. Another example: If you've watched the South Park episode about freemium games, the messages that Stan gets telling him that he hasn't played for a while and that he got "free canadough" are also push notifications.
Usually you can disable them in the iPhone's settings.
