You can. My skype is the same as my nickname here if you want to do some so-op against bots first (I never had the chance to play competitively since I'm too antisocial). BTW, did I mention this? I would need to find a version of Generals that can run on Mac, but if I can find copy in a shop somewhere I'll be up for some co-op sessions. Doesn't Mac come with free VM? I also remember hearing wine-based emulator adapted for Mac.

I would need to find a version of Generals that can run on Mac, but if I can find copy in a shop somewhere I'll be up for some co-op sessions. Doesn't Mac come with free VM? I also remember hearing wine-based emulator adapted for Mac. You can install Windows on a Mac - it comes with a utility called Bootcamp to set that up. It does mean having to reboot into Windows, but it means you get Windows on the hardware as a first class OS. VM Hypervisors (Such as Parallels or Virtualbox) means the host operating system simulates the behaviour of another machine in software (Though most modern CPUs support features to facilitate this on hardware with better performance), However Graphics (2D/3D) virtualization isn't quite there yet, so it might work for older games or games that don't tax the graphics card. Using a translation layer, such as Wine means sacrificing some performance, but is likely to yield better performance than a VM (if you can get it to work), and the other benefit is that you don't need to reboot. Winebottler and Wineskin are popular tools for creating Mac App bundles from windows software, if you wish to experiment...

I just remember wife of my brother use a VM to play PC games without rebooting. I don't remember the details, though.

Put in a few hours of outcast now, highly recommend it for nostalgic gameplay (remember it's a 1999 game) but music, sound effects, story and humour is awesome. Check out old gameplay first and if it tickles your fancy get it. It will support a modern remake or even a whole new game from the outcast universe. For those that wonder, think of a sci-fi gta3 with not quite so good graphics, but an entertaining story. store.steampowered.com/app/336610/steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=375770844
