"Employed" farmers not working

"Employed" farmers not working Dec 29, 2014 16:38:42 GMT

I built a new farm settlement and closed the game for a bit, waiting for it to produce farmers. When I came back, it said the settlement had 2/2 famers and 0 unemployed. But there's no nearby fields, so where are those farmers working? My farm stats say that settlement is producing 0 wheat per day so I don't think they're actually employed? All my other farmers are working so I'm really confused. Is this a glitch? How can I get them to build new fields?

They may have wandered off somewhere. A few times I've exited before they've gone to their leash points and they are on some cliff edge instead. Did you leash them to a particular field or location or did you let them do their own thing?
