Was anyone else somewhat disappointed by the Steam Holiday Sale this year?

I did manage to pick up a few small titles that I wanted - and unfortunately missed a couple good discounts due to having to work and sleep. lol.

But overall, it just seemed lack luster, and didn't have the fantastic deals on big titles like they use to.

Maybe it's just me getting stingy in my age...
