"screw the IOS version." Apple recently listed Godus on IOS is one of the best games in 2014. I'm not sure that 22Cans would share your opinion here. Furthermore, mobile is growing much faster that desktop computing which is likely why there is an IOS version to start with. The A7 and A8 chips are just the beginning in terms of power and speed. With all due respect Lord. No Offense dude, but if you had backed a chunk of money for a promised non F2p PC classic God game in the ilk of Populous or Black and White and got this, you might say "screw IOS" too. Since they screwed us over to get it, denied it and then insulted us for calling them on it, you might understand it. So I am happy for you, and you are more than welcome here, but my personal experience would leave me to scream "screw IOS" too. Plus, if they were truly THAT successful, I highly doubt PM would be ditching out on Godus for his new game before it was ever even FINISHED, and that includes IOS as well as our massively lacking PC "game" which is still in alpha, even though amazingly I backed for an "exclusive alpha access years ago. Legally, no one but us alpha backers should have or ever had access to any alpha build but miracle of miracles, 22cans gave us our exclusive alpha build for 2 weeks, then called it beta for a few more weeks, then opened up to Steam early access, and then said........OH my, wait, no, this is just an alpha build still and yet released the same ALPHA version on IOS, and got this BS called a title of behind close doors handshake with distributor and Apple as a "top" game. It crashes constantly and still same crap Alpha build from years ago and they don't have cash enough to completely fix it, but sure.....lol, that's a top game. By the way, I have a nice bridge to buy if you are interested...

Qetesh-
Hmmm... sorry about that I suppose. I feel a bit like the traveler in a foreign country who waves to someone, smiles or gives the thumbs up only to discover that in that country it's an insult. I wasn't aware of this history. I have been playing on a one year old iPad Air and have never experienced a single crash. Not knowing the history you relate I thought it was nice that Godus was listed as one of the best IOS games. Simple as that.
Hope pe you have a nice day.

I have nothing against people that like the IOS game, but I also completely understand where the negativity is coming from, as some of my posts will show. All are welcome here and as an actual expat from USA in Belfast now that spent tons of time in Netherlands and Croatia, I understand your analogy and frustration with it. No worries all around. *waves back with a smile*

Why is it that lots of features have not been put into the PC version because the mobile wouldn't be able to handle them but the mobile version has a feature that the PC doesn't? That would be their USP, universal stitchup point...
