This whole forum seems a lot more chilled than the backers forum. Its really nice. Whenever I am over there it always feels like a bed of toxicity (doubt the few posts I ever made really helped things either). Might be due to it being young but I hope not. I think that might have something to do with the fact that on the 22Cans forum people post in the hope that some developers read it and maybe even respond. Because that pretty much never happens the air around there feels laden with negativity. Around here you can be sure there won't be any developers reading your posts so I think that has an effect on the way people post.

By the way, how do you guys like the icons of the 'blue birds'. It seems to be an accepted colloquialism now. I made those icons! I liked the Icons, in keeping but slightly removed from the art direction of Godus. Ah yes, not much more can be said. It always seemed like Geminu & Muir was beholden to 22Cans for some reason, like some poor soul in indentured service having to Praise their master no matter the circumstance. I must tell my wife, she won't believe I made sense. oh poor me.......... I love my wife, she is wonderful (I have to say that - indentured service you know )

My issue with the Augurs were at times I could not tell if they were suppose to be just Mods or if they were Devs. That and I understand that Mods have options, but I would rather they have a personal account that they make those known, not use an "Official" account that makes there option have more weight and look like it comes from the Dev Team.

It was stated from the start, that the moderators were chosen from the backer group. But I suppose that natural skepticism set in. Some people just want to see bears on the road, where there are none.

Just wondering if there is anything preventing us all from having a new blue bird (one design, not one for each) on the backers forums, just as a "joke"

Actually, there was another remaining design for the possible 'fourth' augur. I'll see if I still have it. If I do, I will share it, for the luls.

You will just have to put on your big googoo eyes and ask Umbra very nicely if he'd like to make one.

I'm enjoying the show. I said goodbye to my £100 (i think). T-shirt is nice, rest is probably garbage (I still need to give away my 2 copies, 1 of which i was holding out for my tablet, oh foolish me). I learned to be very suspicious of any KS that offers Alpha or Beta(to a lesser degree) as a reward. I'd rather spend less money and get the game later. I think I need to go back to my "no demo, no buy" rule.

Agreed, I'm going to need to do a lot more due diligence in future and not take people like Peter, who I held in high regard at the time on trust. For me I couldn't care less about the £322 I don't even care if it fails, it was an accepted risk. The thing which turned this whole project sour for me and the day I turned from Peters 2nd biggest fan (after G-Bird obviously) to his biggest detractor was the day FTP came out. I just read in the papers today another kid killed themselves after racking up massive bills on downloads which they didn't comprehend the cost of. The sooner the genre of game is banned in the EU the better. It makes me sick to think that even a penny of mine might have been used to create software which will cause hardship and sorrow to those who nearly always can't least afford.

I am sorry that indeed, the Augurs have taken on the role of 'filter'. Now that you say it, it is exactly how it feels. Here in Russia we have a term for this: anal moderation.
