Hello, I come to visit these forums(this one and the Steam one) from time to time less and less, and I always see the same comments that seem to be post every 2 days around the unachieved Godus game project. Just one little question: aren't you bored by all that negativity? Or are you looking in someway for more?  I've even been thinking it could be some people from 22cans or relatives that would create that kind of buzz, making so much noise for such a little game, and kindof advertizing it that way, the same way TV does... Oki, ciao ciao. |

I've felt very uneasy seeing the spate of recent attacks against Peter... and maybe it's deserved, and I'm not saying people don't have a right to be angry. But these seem to be very personally directed, and... well, it's something that I think is very unpleasant to read. At the minute, I honestly feel bad for Peter more than anything... I think I still want to believe that he's not directly to blame for all of this shenanigans, but he is a target because he's the spokesperson for the company and he's never (that I can see) tried to push another person into the line of fire. He accepts all this criticism, and justified or not, I imagine that weighs heavily.
Anyway, I've enjoyed reading the recent threads that Konrad has started about the design of combat etc, and I like the idea of having some technical focused videos. I would like to see more of these positive kinds of discussions to offset the negativity that's in the gaming press at the minute!

Re-direction, stalling for time and loudly declaring his acceptance of responsibility as if he shouldn't and he's doing someone a favour. Everything comes off as slippery as if he's actively trying to avoid giving an honest answer. I don't know him personally so this is all just an impression I'm getting, but until I have evidence of the contrary it's all I've got to go on. I agree that all the negativity is a bummer, but at the same time people unit in anger, so there's a definite sense of community  Always thought a dating site that matched people based on what they hate rather than what they like would be much more successful. |

Sorry, boy, but the reason of personal direction of all the negativity is his personal conduct. He insulted us at every occasion he had, and lied ti us not because of business, but because his personality (disorder) demands. All of this clusterfuck is much more personal than you might think. |

I haven't seen the head of the studios insulting some people: just some of them confunding mobile and pc version, that may be normal.
I ve been wondering as well if this forum s not just there to generate traffic somehow. Wouldn t be easier to make polls? Ok, whatever, good day and thank u for ur attention amigos.

I accept that some people will feel sorry for him. I felt sorry for him too for the first 3 videos or so that he cried his crocodile tears for us. The truth is he has made a series of decisions, and continues to make decisions that have lead down this path. For 18 months (give or take) we have raised issues with GODUS and the changes to address these are token. As of today PC GODUS is a weak port of mobile GODUS which itself is a free to play monstrosity. You might not think this is worthy of hating Peter Molyneux for but consider this, he created Curiosity and promised everyone who played it the chance to win a "life changing" prize. Ultimately Bryan won the right to be God of Gods and 1% of the profits from GODUS. He has yet to receive a cent. Just think about what that means for the people who played Curiosity. I cant condone someone doing that to other people and hence I cant forgive Peter Molyneux, hes gone too far this time.

Well, such a stupid plan would be in keeping with 22Cans general approach to business, but I think it's probably not the case. While I'm sure some people with money to throw around will have bought Godus just to see what all the fuss is about, many more will not want to sink money into an obvious dud. |

We will aim to do more games soon, and when Godus has some new features it will be done again. Most people all used shout box, we did it last Saturday. |
