Design
- Meeting to finalise phase 1 of combat sprint work and sign off.
- Prepared design doc for phase 1 and doc for the community
- Combat design continues”
Programming
- Fixing bugs to do with story unlocking
- Polishing the journal interface and the new journal starry particle effect
- Looking at bug that happens when a lot of followers are out of houses”
- Found that the fix for the lost progression didn't work, so trying a different method (lets see how that goes)
- Some people had noticed that the gem seam trail wasn't working, so I fixed it so that when you dig up the land, by hand or meteor, the minable gems show up.
- Also, today I'm going to be looking at the design of combat and seeing what I can do on it.
- General bug squashing. Particularly in the areas of God Powers & Weyworld
- It's still proving very useful to learn different areas of the codebase”

- Setting up a new build machine!
- Attended a combat design planning meeting
- Extended the Community Management plan
- Attended a Community Management plan meeting”
QA
- Looked into all of the bugs entered from last night's testing and assigned them to the relevant developers for fixes, etc
- Looked over the sections of the Test Plans that have been completed so far to make sure it's all running smoothly; so far, so good
- Entered a few bugs into the JIRA internal database based on some feedback from users in the Steam forums
- Looked into a save from a user who is experiencing a crash when moving Followers, something which looks like it's caused by the VAST amount of Followers in that world (well played!)
- Smoke tested a build for both iOS and Android for the testers to play with, and break, overnight
- Wrote the Direction Email for the external testers so that they know which areas of the game to focus as well as which bugs are ready to be confirmed as fixed”
QA & Community
- The book proposal is all but done
- Research into printing costs and numbers is being finalised and narrowing down the best options”

- Asking our support team to gather some more information on the ‘Cards not unlocking and Notifications are always enabled bugs’
- Continuing work on the Community Management plan
- Attended a Community Management plan meeting
- Writing up this Daily Dev Blog at this late hour”
