Look at this upgrade card. So they had a situation of poor game design by putting in manual belief collection. Then they shaped this in the form of pink bubbles that needed to be clicked. Then they reinvented the way to collect belief by creating a leashing system to make it easier to pop all the bubbles. But they made sure that you get less belief from the bubbles if you leash them than you would by individually popping them. Because surely people must be punished for using a poorly designed interface instead of an even more poorly designed interface. But thankfully we have an upgrade card that we can achieve and if we stick lots of stickers on it the leashing costs will be reduced. But still the cost would be higher than if someone would pop the bubbles one by one because off course we really want to stimulate people to click them one by one. Wtf.

I think this is for leashing followers, not gathering belief. At least I have not been able to leash people due to low belief, or think that was the reason and not just a badly programed leashing system.

But then what is the cost? Leash 5 followers but you only get 3? Buy the upgrade and you will get 4 out of 5?

No clue. I just know I have tried to leash people out of a hut to get them to build something and they will not go and my belief flashes like It was trying to use it. I want to say I have seen this when normally leashing as well.

Default cost of 1 leashed follwer is 20 belief. 20% discount gives us cost of 15 belief per follower.

Still not worth dozens of stickers.

Still not worth dozens of stickers. Hence why the sticker system is ridiculous. As it's been said, if they're intent on keeping stickers and cards, the stickers should enhance/boost/buff the abilities or power level of the cards if anything.

Phew. I just finished sticking 3500 stickers to unlock the stone farmhouse card, most of them doubles and triples. Now what good is this gonna do me?

How come it takes 5 people 20 minutes to build a wooden cabin but 3 people can build a stone farmhouse 4 times the size in half the time?

How come it takes 5 people 20 minutes to build a wooden cabin but 3 people can build a stone farmhouse 4 times the size in half the time? Because the game is severely, indiscriminatly, cripplingly imbalanced and stiflingly unintuitive?

I was creating new land for a second stone farmhouse (which has nothing to do with farming) and when I got the large plot I sent some people to build it. As soon as they started they divided the terrain into smaller plots and started building those. So I gave them the finger, of god, and reshaped the land so the plots disappeared. After the builders had returned home I reshaped the land again until I had a big plot. So then I send some builders to it and then the exact same thing happened. I repeated it again and the same thing happened again. To me surprise I found that the first farmhouse that had been built in a nearby area had suddenly disappeared and there was a stone in its place as if I had given it the finger. Naturally there were lots of small plots around it so now I had the same problem in two places. It took four tries before they finally got the idea and built the stone farmhouse. Then I had to do some reshaping in the other area and got them to build the farmhouse where I had one before.

Whoops, sorry. Thought this was the Fable III discussion thread, given the title. But um, Godus fits it too. Carry on.
