Annoying NEW BUG on IOS: Every Time there is a gem in a treasure chest I get a spinning authorizing wheel. It was never like this before. Must have been an error in the last update. See picture. Perhaps FuriousMoo or Raspofabs or mrdrpink or someone can fix this? Thanks. At least you should be aware of it.

Hmmm... Perhaps authorization is required because gems can be purchased for real money so when a gem has to be added to the stack first a check has to be done to see if someone isn't cheating by hacking in some gems.

Yes, you are right. The spinner should not be up for long, less time on a better connection and all that. Maybe it's because we have a lot of new players in Japan at the moment.

I can confirm I always get an authorization popup on droid too, as you say because of the gems. However if I've got a bad connection, or rather what godus has decided is a bad connection I have been able to redo that bit and get the gems after the game crashes out at this point too. Sometimes it recovers slowly sometimes I get godus has stopped...

I was actually wondering if it was something like that. Thanks for the quick response!

Well at the moment for me Godus won't even load on iOS. Just sits at the splash screen with a third full green loading bar

...which would be when its trying to pull back the server side balance stuff presumably so is equally likely to be congested due to Japan.
