Today, here at the 22cans Tower. Konrad holds Pavle at gun point, Richard gets upset at an Android device and Conor’s plan for the Making-of book is coming along nicely.
Design - Konrad
- Spent hours trying to work out why switching maps was borked on my machine. Then held Pavle at gunpoint till he identified the issue. Turns out the game rejected the path of my local files because my name is too long and put it over the character limit……..
- Started building the 1st combat/tutorial scenario.
Programming - Pavle
- Merging the latest code to the Steam branch in order to get ready for the Combat Sprint.
Programming - Richard
“Reproducing and determining the probable nature of the bugs our testers reported overnight. Making sure these bugs reach the appropriate people.
Getting set-up with an Android device, so I can debug Android-specific issues.
Investigating other miscellaneous bugs.
Working on a series of minor changes to the story presentation, requested by Design.
Programming - Fabs
- Brought over all bug fixes into the steam branch, ready for work on the combat sprint.
- Working on combat, follower group movement tech.
QA - Martin
- Triaging bugs from testers overnight.
- Archiving documents from testers overnight.
- Looking, and drooling, over the sweet, sweet testing metrics… *drooool*
- Working with Bruno to get a new analytic value working and tested.
- Regressing PC bugs that have been fixed over the past few days.
- Entering issues raised by Steam Community into the internal database.
- Smoke testing iOS and Android builds for external testers.
- Writing direction email for tonight’s testing.
QA and Community - Conor
- Continuing to work with social media in any time not dedicated to the Making-of Godus proposal.
- Working with the proposal, attempting to elongate it and refine.
Production - Andy
- Sourcing art for Easter content on Mobile.
- Sourcing art for further story improvements.
- Helped Pavle with a merge.. Probably made it worse.
- Planning to have a meeting about the making of book.
- Having a meeting tonight with our publisher to discuss some weirdness with push notifications.
Community - Dave
- Looking into social media trends for 2015.
- Attended meeting for the Making-of Book (I gotta say, the proposal is coming along nicely).
- Looking over Steam and Pro boards keeping up to date with current threads.
