I'm not a Kickstarter backer, but if I was (especially if I'd gone in for any significant amount) I would be all over this.

This advice notes that backers outside of the UK can follow this process as long as they have a trusted UK address they can use. As a UK resident I would be happy to support any board members wanting to borrow my address for this purpose. Send me a PM if interested.
