I have never played Far Cry series before. I don't really like to play FPS, one of the few exceptions being Titanfall for being gorgeous.
But the parody standalone addon to Far Cry 3 called Blood dragon is like dream come true.
It has everything: stealth elements, combo takedowns, colorful neon palette like that of ME!ME!ME! feat.Daoko x TeddyLoid (I won't give you the link since it contradicts the TOS; you can just find it on youtube), ability to make enemies contrast with their environment (very good for my bad eyesight), cyborg protagonist (like in 80-s), ability to show an obscene gesture to your enemies, retrofuturistic setting, giant reptiles shooting beams and 8-bit-style cinematics. It is perfect trash (Russian use of the word, means something close to exploitation film) that does not need any good story, interesting characters of anything deep. It says: "shut down your brain, hop in and enjoy the ride!"
