So here is what our friend is saying on steam and now some of us are unable to contest his facts:
"There has been over 207 updates alone to the pc version, also the pc version has quite a few differences from the mobile, I picked it up the other night because it was on sale 75% off had played it prior on the mobile, and can say I much prefer the pc version. It has a much faster pace, and the gems become something simular to like a power up supply as opposed to a currency. If ya own it no harm in playing it again to find out xD"
A power up supply? Are you fucking kidding me. Has anyone watched his supposed videos?
Definitely a troll.

This also fits the bill for a sock puppet, where someone is obviously spinning out the view of the game that the company wishes the public to adopt.
I only watched his glitch video, I may have sat down to watch other videos of his, but this whole affair has soured me on wanting to revisit anything related to that thread.

I suspect he may have used that group Mandrake mentioned to find us and now is deriving pleasure by tormenting people on steam. It's funny how 22cans loves to ping us for supposed flame baiting and trolling but when a real troll shows up they are blind to it.

"A power up supply? Are you fucking kidding me. Has anyone watched his supposed videos?" I did...briefly, as much as I could stand. www.youtube.com/channel/UCeKDilU-HldEwCZlBwyxXhw/videosThey are mind-numbing shite that you can understand why they only have single-digit views on each, as they're just the in-game commentary along to some gameplay, and some are just Gameplay in Crappy Resolution. A substantial number of their videos lack any views at all. The reason why is easily understood, that if they were any more passive and boring they might accidentally get classified as ASMR. There is no PC vs Mobile comparison video. Their video on how to bypass the tutorial ("This video has been removed by the user."): www.youtube.com/ watch?v=2SNvjIfhnQg Looks like wannabe YouTube "celebrities" are now able to be bought off to make obvious false statements and then troll the forums for a developer, else they wouldn't be making such a mess of themselves, so DefectedZombie appears to be just trolling for hits, possibly bought off by a comp'd game key. I wish them luck on someday reaching 4 digits on a single video, because they will need it at their current rate.....zzzzzzzz.....

Do they look like they are having fun playing the game or do they hit all the same tedious barriers we despise. What I mean is do they suffer downtime where there is nothing to do? Do they launder gems using the pit of doom?

I wonder if they'll try and unlock some of the techs that require 150-300 mines and farms. That's what I was trying to do when my progress was wiped.

As in "Check on the Astari people" when they are still just dancing around at the edge of the beginning:

In other words, they haven't hit the wall of tedium yet that comes once meeting the Astari, "unlocking" farming and ore, and finding Weyworld. Typical of anyone that has not been following this from day one. If they're not a paid troll, just give them a few days/weeks/months playing the PC version and they'll likely come around. More likely than not, after a whirlwind of baiting and trolling, they'll vanish back into the aether from whence they came.

Unfortunately trying to educate or inform anyone whom is fairly new or oblivious to the experiences and history of this game are viewed and construed by the Mods & Devs & Denier-Supporters, as baiting/trolling/belittling/bullying/ganging-up-on/etc. no matter how you approach it.

Does Steam ban VNP IP addresses? If not, they should be aware how easy it is to just make new accounts. A smart computer wizard could probably change his own IP address right? Mass bans on board never make sense.

Mass bans on board never make sense. They are already well aware of this situation, and already have provisions in place to counter this. So anyone that gets banned and trys to return to the forums under a new identity, will be unable to fully participate in ongoing forum discussions, without needing to purchase some new games for their account. I had considered creating an alternate account to get back onto the Godus forums, but don't feel inclined to purchase any new games just for the privilege of being able to resume posting regularly again. I'll therefore only return to the forums if my ban is lifted ( which seams unlikely save for an intervention from steam support).

FRA is back, I guess his ban was nice and short, no perma ban for him. He's already launched two insults accusing 13th General of lacking introspection and being a hypocrit. For the later I don't think he knows what it means since he's really just accusing him of being inconsistent. steamcommunity.com/app/232810/discussions/6/618458030686194549/#p4

And he'd probably be pleased as punch to be called out on it, so he can disregard it & change the goalposts again. He's not trying to prove a point or win an argument, he really is just trolling. nothing more.

Admittedly, I can be a tad inconsistent. Usually I chalk it up to fatigue, low attention to details, or simply not putting enough time into the subject to really have an appropriate amount of information or construct a well formulated comment. I have a tendency to ramble on a bit an lose focus, generally. Does that make me hypocritical? I suppose at times it may, although I'm still confused as to that individual's purpose calling me that - other than potentially trying to instigate me - as the context did not seem to fit the situation. But I don't ruffle easily.
