www.eurogamer.net/articles/2014-04-24-can-godus-be-fixedNo, probably not by now. But I did just pick up "Endless Legend", an early access game that - like "Dungeon of the Endless" before it - is really quite striking in how solid it is at the very first glance. And much more fun. I bring it up, of course, because Amplitude make a big deal of their "Games 2gether" initiative. I came in late to Endless Space, but I was sold enough to invest in their early access games. Have not regretted. It seems as though 22cans could learn something about working with the community from them..

Why should they fix something that works like it was intended by Peter and his financial f2p department?

Why should they fix something that works like it was intended by Peter and his financial f2p department? Precisely. If only a significant group of the folks who paid them money to make the game had warned them earlier enough.. Oh, wait. It is a great article. My favorite quote, "Few games are as blandly, perhaps unintentionally, sadistic as this. Few games treat their players and their time with so little respect."
