I've been trying to come up with an idea for a new logo/banner for godus for the forum but I'm having a hard time with it. There is plenty of nice artwork out there but most of it doesn't really reflect the state of the game at all.
What would be a good image to use that would immediately make people think godus (besides obviously the godus logo) and also does not lie about the game?
By that I mean for example there is an image of a hunter besides a sheep but neither hunters nor sheep are in the game so it makes no sense to use something like that. There are a lot of images like that.
I could use some ideas and suggestions.

Maybe I could use that picture of the Astari dancing, I kinda liked that.
Lol! Googling images for Astari brings up a ton of pictures of women. Apparently it's necessary to use "Astari godus" as the search term.

Height 200px, width 2300px. But the most important part is the left side of the banner. The 2300 width is just so that if someone views the site on a monitor with a resolution of 2560 it still looks alright. |

They were still in as of 2.1/2.2 at least. I don't mean the wild life sheep. Just scenery sheep that would sit outside of some abodes in farming settlements. Shame they removed them.  |

Because of the way the forum is programmed the right side of the picture can only be seen by people that use a resolution of 2560 px wide or higher. It doesn't scale the image. Therefore the left side of the picture is the important part. I used a gradient so that there would at least be something different on the right side, but it isn't much. Focus is on making the left side of the banner look good and to the point.

I've put a little art pack together - there's wallpapers and a few character art images. PNG format images have a transparent background making it easier to use in any banners! Might see what I can come up with later today as well. we.tl/6SVoDScuWDEnjoy |
