... Before I even spoke, again a new horror comes along. godus.boards.net/post/26418/threadShit moderation has nothing on the real designs in progress. The PR strategy is now obvious: I'll be back in a bit, I have some phone calls to make. Using my finger to scroll through the thread became awkward when that gif came along.

Pro tip "General Discussion" forums and "Off-topic" forums are much too much for mere mortal mods to handle. steamcommunity.com/app/422420/discussions/3/405690850603296120/Good thing we pay for a highly trained team of god-mods on this site to handle the back-breaking overlap that the off topic section creates, otherwise we would all be in DEEP DOODOO!!! <sarcasm> We have an 'Off-Topic' section? WHY WAS I NOT BRIEFED ON THIS!?! *storms off mumbling* ...now where'd I leave my mod stick... </sarcasm>

LMFAO This hide the old bad reviews has seriously back fired. Godus Wars has LESS positive reviews than Godus. Great PR work Colin

Great PR work Colin Before the whole "premium addon" bit the reviews were hovering about ten percent higher. I figure once 22cans start playing the whole "But that was Godus, this is Godus Wars" nonsense they will lose the remaining 23%. They have the trained forum monkeys enfarcing that already, so...prepare for the reaction to that coming from the official company sphincters. It will be glorious.

I'd attribute another 10-20% of the bad feedback to those forum monkeys. Why did they decide to kick off their new game with the same failed tactics of suppression? If they'd released the game with no paywall and hadn't been attacking people on the forum for having an opinion I would have just been happy to read people's thoughts and let the game mature. As soon as it was paywalls and jackboots I was up in arms.

As soon as it was paywalls and jackboots I was up in arms. Apparently pointing out how KSH did better with Space Engineers because they stopped the 22cannish nonsense around Miner Wars 2081, otherwise they would likely be in the same boat as before (and the one 22cans finds themselves in now), wasn't something Simon "could work with". 22cans tries to reinvent Godus but continues with the same shit tricks - and it sounds like they were ready for folks to call them on a lot of them. For the lengths they have gone to keep this hidden, they certainly wasted the opportunity for much of anything but looking like they were taking the Early Access program to new lows.
