hehe. I was just staring at the link to my Diablo III the other day while cleaning up my installed game library. I haven't had a chance to really get into it, what with all my other games begging for attention ahead of it. It's def worth returning to, especially now that Loot 2.0 has been implemented.

I have gotten Qetesh to play Tales of Monkey Island. She's a bit of a cheater though using walkthroughs when she thinks I'm not looking. Meanwhile I have stepped into my time machine and traveled back 21 years to play Premier Manager 2. It's still a fun game.

Played through Monkey Island when I was a kid, was completely lost on how to play the game so used a guide the whole way through. Still thoroughly enjoyable as gameplay makes up very little of what makes that series fun.

It is fun without game play but still so much better with. Aye, true. Feels great when you get a combination right and can progress through the scene. I suppose as a kid I didn't really play video games much and read a lot of books, so the actual story was significantly more interesting.

FINALLY finished Diablo 3 up to Nightmare mode on the Hard difficulty setting. Took down Diablo without dying with my level 51 Monk. No desire to continue through to Hell and Inferno - in fact I'm glad it's over, that game is dangerously addictive.
Was going to play The Witcher 2, but I actually want something less involved and absorbing after the crack-as-software that is Diablo, so I've just started Remember Me instead - a nice, short, straight-forward action-adventure platfomer romp I can pick up and put down without it impacting my social life or sleeping patterns.

Diablo 3 is on my must-buy list. Loads of people have recommended it now!
I played Witcher right the way through the final boss battle, which I managed to stumble into without sufficient prep and can probably never beat, so I shelved that and started Witcher 2. It's pretty good but I kept getting completely pasted by level 1 bandits or whatever that ambushes you from the forests. I think it's a game that takes some getting used to.
I've spent the last couple of days playing Plague Inc (interestingly, another game that has a mobile port though I don't know anything about it).

So with out Reaper of Souls you still have the old difficulty levels? IF that is so and you do want an "end game" then I would not but RoS as adventure mode is pretty fun. Thought I did enjoy the new zone and mobs they added. Also I love the new abilities they added with RoS.

I'm going to go back to Diablo 3 after they release their second expansion pack and then play through the main game and both expansions to Nightmare mode with a new character - probably a Wizard unless they implement an elemental or shape-shifting class.

With this Steam sale going on my backlog of games has skyrocketed. Next on my list will probably be Papers, Please. Not exactly a god game, but really interested in taking it for a spin.

Talk about coincidences, I just resumed playing that the other night. I really, really dig it. The only glaring flaws in the game to me are (on the PC, poor mouse+kb support) the easily broken combos and difficulty/impossibility of separating enemies from one another. If you could separate them, the first wouldn't be as much of a problem, but since they introduce ranged units later on, the first is a problem regardless of divisibility of the crowd, so the ability to throw down barriers and diversions would fix most of it. The combos themselves, despite inflexibility, are really cool for letting you augment each hit, which is something I appreciate over other brawler type games to which it may be compared.

With the steam sale going my backlog is...well, I'll never finish it. But I played a game called Cinders - it's basically a choose your own adventure of the Cinderella story, done slightly differently. Really awesome, and really beautiful.
