According to steam stats basically nobody plays GODUS. I'm pretty sure the small number of people who do fall into two categories - people who play it so they can be more informed when they diss it on these forums and people who have just bought it and haven't figured out its shit but will in 2-3 hours.
So how about we talk about what we play instead of GODUS. If you play GODUS then feel free to say that with an explanation of why you play it - it's fun, I'm trying to find fault or I just started.
If you are playing other games let us know. Some of the best games and books(GOT) I've played I've heard about on forums where someone is bagging another game or book.
For me I'm playing DOTA and EU4 at the moment but mostly DOTA. Im looking forward to beyond earth but I refuse to preorder it because civ5 was a let down for the first 3 years and because buying games on release incentivises sloppy development.

Lately I've been playing a lot of X-Com: Enemy Within, Diablo III, and once in a while I jump into Project Zomboid to see how it's coming. I really wish there were more Sandbox/God games, though. I'm itching for a good one, and am a bit tired of Civ5, Minecraft, and Terraria.
I removed Godus because I just couldn't stand it any more. I wish I wanted to participate, and playtest, but it just wasn't going anywhere I was pleased with (especially having to repeat that stupid tutorial EVERY TIME).

Starting yesterday, I’ve put in a good amount of time with Final Fantasy III’s Steam release. For the record, I actually like the retooled-yet-retro graphics.

It reminds me a bit of an all-time favorite: FFVII rekindled my interests in gaming. I wonder how many years ago that was, now.

If I have time I'm playing Tropico 5. I'm watching a lot of Castle too.

Evil Genius, playing this using a Cider port on my mac. Made by Demis Hassabis who funnily enough worked with PM at Bullfrog and Lionhead and always seemed to be a really great game designer. It's a bit flawed, but gives me a laugh and the gameplay is great.

WoW, Battlefield 4, some Minecraft, Distant Worlds Universe and recently a bit of Wildstar. Also gave Tropico 5 a tiny try as well as Watch Dogs. So, loads of Games out there currently wanting to catch my interest and get hold of my precious time.

Just finished the main story of Watch dogs and now I'm playing XCom:Enemy Within (first vanilla, then eventually with the long war mod). But there is a Master thesis that I need to write ...

I recently played Hydrophobia because I got curious after hearing it mentioned in one of the kickstarter videos I transcribed. I played it up until the big evil robot. I found that "scene" to be horribly fucked up though. My character didn't seem to want to perform the actions that needed to be done in order to pass. I think that was pretty near the end of the game. Also I must say I wasn't really impressed with the game. It was very linear and not very puzzling or exciting. Replay value almost nil. Apart from this I haven't really played much lately.

what I usual play the most of, which is good old point and click adventure games... such a great resurgence recently, the latest was The Last Door which has the best atmosphere and tension with the least pixels! Great stuff.

Great stuff. Do you know the Blackwell Series or Resonance (both by wadjet eye games)? I highly recommend them to you if you don't know them yet. They are absolutely great (storywise and puzzlewise).

Great stuff. Oh, me too. I forgot that I'm currently playing through the Broken Sword series. I backed Broken Sword 5 on Kickstarter and am going back through all the previous ones, so I can get to play the one I helped fund. Do you know the Blackwell Series or Resonance (both by wadjet eye games)? I highly recommend them to you if you don't know them yet. They are absolutely great (storywise and puzzlewise). I really liked Resonance; I played it several times to try different paths and to see the alternate endings. I wish they'd do a sequel to it or something similar. Haven't picked up Blackwell yet - though if you recommend it, I might just go grab it. Point and Click are my all time favorite genre, having grown up with all the Sierra and LucasArts; really enjoying the resurgence in popularity (esp. thanks to crowdfunding).
