I think the idea of having no chat isn't about profanity primarily but just about creating the environment that allows for players to communicate creatively using sculpting and other sorts. Games like Journey and curiosity too have been great because of the lack of chat. That was specifically for hubworld too I think. I imagine chat could be something you unlock in the future once you've experienced that. This is exactly our thinking! How do you intend to handle the onslaught of genitalia sculpting? I don't mean to be crude, but we all saw what Spore brought us with its "creative collaboration".

We've found it astonishingly hard to create genitalia on mobile, especially with the fixed camera.

And also a noteworthy feature for the PC release. "Leave your mark on your followers in your Homeworld through divine guidance and suggestive geological formations."

hahah! I'm totally guilty of sculpting suggestive "ceremonial mounds", usually of the double-hump variety.

Suddenly I feel like playing Godus again. Sculpting is really the only major reason I have so many hours into the game - I used my waiting time to play with the sculpting aspect and tended to get carried away to the point of ignoring the rest of the game that frustrated me. And then Voyages came along and killed the fun of sculpting; after that frustration sculpting lost it's enjoyment factor. I didn't want to sculpt anymore, and since the rest of the game was a mess, it lost my interest.

Yep, sculpting was the only fun thing for me in the game as well. And after spending ridiculous amounts of time on crafting my world into my vision a couple of times I came to realize the pointlessness of it. Especially considering the world had to be reset over and over, but also because the rest of the game was aggravating me.

"Pointless" Yes, that's the word I was looking for. The rest of the game just has no real point, no goal, to strive for. Granted it's still unfinished, but the progression is excruciatingly linear, and yet also non-existent; you get everything eventually without the feeling of it leading anywhere.
