I think the last submarine game I ever played was probably Silent Service, because my uncle had it. That's the same place I was introduced to adventure games. Oddly enough, I eventually joined the Navy and use to repair subs. But I prefer the adventure games over flight/driving sim games. Lol. I'm reading a book about a submarine. Fiction or non-fiction? The last book I read as "Ready Player One" by Earnest Cline. Good stuff, really makes you think how awesome a true VR system would be. Speaking of, I really want to try that game George is working on, The Assembly.

Speaking of, I really want to try that game George is working on, The Assembly. It's fiction. You are correct. I normally don't read books. But one day at work Bubblebreaker didn't work and I couldn't get into Sudoku either, so the only thing I had to do was read a book. So I read a book. And now I'm about three quarters through a second book.

Best games from there are probably Gemini Rue and Primordia, so far as I'm concerned. Great little scifi point and click adventures. I have but haven't played the Blackwell Bundle and Resonance, so I can't say much for them or the rest of the games up there.

If you haven't played Blackwell and Resonance I have to say: Do it! They are really good with an exciting and surprising story. Very recommendable to every fan of that genre! And the games von Daedalic are actually also very good. I just love Deponia and a new beginning. Er. Just yes!

Deponia series is really fun and quite well done; artwork, story, dialog, humor - all fantastic. Something about it, to me, is very reminiscent of Monkey Island. Some of the puzzles are 'meh' or a bit contrived, but that's normal wigh any P&C Adventure game. Overall it's a superb series with memorable characters.
I really enjoyed Resonance, too, regardless of some shortcomings in dialogue and puzzles. Really interesting story with some (cliche) twists, and a few alternate endings/paths. It's a short game, as long as you don't get too stuck on a puzzle. Considering it was started by one guy, for five years, before being picked up and supported by WadjetEye. Interesting Trivia; Resonance was made using Adventure Game Studio engine, and was the first computer game successfully funded through Kickstarter (way back in 2009!).
Honestly, I don't think you can find a truly bad title on that list, especially if you enjoy P&C Adventure games.
