It's likely to be minimum and even more so in discussions but if there's an opportunity to help someone understand something I might pop up Understood. As a non-artistic person, I can say that the art is beautiful and I envy anyone with the skills to do so. I'll be sure to pass that onto the art team and I think it will make them smile to hear, they have put a huge amount of time and effort into the game aesthetics, often staying way longer than their hours require until they are satisfied with something, so I know hearing support from the community will mean a lot to them

Actually it was with the intent of taking part on the forums? But maybe not, the attitude of some people seems similar to the steam ones and one dose is enough. I think you might've joined the wrong company if you expect to be heralded with a great fanfare. Enough has happened to justify 'the attitude of some people'. Though thats just my personal perspective, having spend over half a year trying to improve the situation and being slapped in the face time and time again - kinda like whats happening to you guys now! Funny how that goes, apparently people do not like being slapped in the face and retaliate when they ARE slapped in the face? Perhaps its time for 22cans as a whole to stop slapping the target audience? =D Fanfair is very far from what I desire or expect As a member of QA I have no control over the game's direction or its management I'm just here to try make the gameplay as clean as possible and help out people who come to us with mechanical issues

My bad. Yes link posting is okay, you might have noticed I linked to the same page.

If you have criticisms of the studio or the game, please direct them towards me or Matthew. Conor is just trying to help.

Nothing personal there George, just saying that if you're complaining about the attitude of some people (in direct response to his comment on the steam boards) - there's a reason why that exists. And as "face" of the company (regardless of whether you're responsible for something or not), you're going to receive some of the community response. Course, with that in mind. The ones actually in charge have rarely shown their faces in 'public'. We can only hope that you few public figures can be so kind as to relay our messages and hope that one day it'll hit home. In any case, welcome to the trenches. There may or may not be cake at the end. We'll just have to wait and see.

Welcome to the (maybe slightly more friendly that steam) forums I guess as we are doing the gently-grilling you for questions in this thread too, I should get my question in too! For your work in QA, at what kind of stage of bug-finding/fixing do you hand on over to other people? By this I mean, do you just have to find a bug and stick it on a spreadsheet, do you have to find what section of the code you think it is in and assign it to the person who coded that bit, do you have to go into the code and find the function that you think is messing up and then check if it's simple enough to fix yourself?

So how many bugs do you think you have tracked/hunted down so far? Without exaggeration we are around the twelve thousand mark... So next time you play the game and get frustrated with something just think of how much worse it could be if we didn't do our job here in QA

I am not a coder so no I don't edit broken material myself, even if I was this would probably be a terrible idea and throw off the original writer when he comes back to it because he would have to familiarise himself with my changes before he could continue When we find a new issue or am able to reproduce a player bug in office we will write up a bug report in JIRA and send it off to production, obviously we try add as much detail as possible such as reproduction steps, priority, how often it we can reproduce it, the desired end result, essentially we try make it as easy as possible for the programmer/artist to who is responsible for fixing the issue to both find and then be able to work out what went wrong
