I'd imagine it'd be easy enough to incorporate the mechanics into a M/KB driven controlscheme though. The new method translates very nicely to m/kb. It's definitely an area of the game where we wanted the controls to translate fluidly across both platforms. So worry not, that's definitely been top of mind for the team. That's good to hear. Speaking of team {look, I'm sort-of on topic!}, how come I've never heard of this Salmon22cans fellow; Did I miss his intro somewhere?

Actually it was with the intent of taking part on the forums? But maybe not, the attitude of some people seems similar to the steam ones and one dose is enough.

But whichever one you want to use is fine with me.

I have never found a username so questioned as this one, in everything from playing games online to forums people always question the miserable part and I have no idea why, It made me smile when it came to mind so I decided to put it into use...in no way reflects me personally, I am neither sad nor a delicious sea fairing animal..you have my word

How about a little introduction. Could you tell us about your function at 22Cans? What are your responsibilities and what do you do on an average day?

You can use any name you like, we actually have a whole thread about where people's name came from. Some are quite interesting. godus.boards.net/thread/245/come-nicknameIf you were made of salmon you would have had to watch out for one of us smoking you and throwing you on a cracker with some capers.

But maybe not, the attitude of some people seems similar to the steam ones and one dose is enough. We are reasonable people. We can have a reasonable discussion. Yes we throw excrement sometimes but that is because we believe GODUS has been developed with a certain degree of cynicism. Whenever 22cans ask for our input we give it politely. Not much of it has been heeded but we have hopes for hubworld, settlement update and the PC sprint. We haven't been told much specific about these.

How about a little introduction. Could you tell us about your function at 22Cans? What are your responsibilities and what do you do on an average day? Of course I have been at 22Cans for over a year now and have been working in QA testing the game for breaks and bugs to try give you the cleanest content possible, its only very recently I have started helping the community guys on the steam forums and its been almost entirely the Bugs and Glitches section where I can put my knowledge of the game and its problems to use helping people with issues My responsibility's and day almost entirely consist of constant gameplay and bug hunting, regressing old issues we think are fixed in an attempt to reproduce them, managing player bugs and trying to get them to happen in office, and of course talking to people with problems on the forums and trying to find them a solution as soon as possible..it may sound repetitive but honestly the huge variation of issues and problems we find ourselves or have reported to us mean its hardly ever a dull day In short, playing games for a living and helping people as much as I can, its enjoyable and I'm glad to be a part of it

But maybe not, the attitude of some people seems similar to the steam ones and one dose is enough. I think you might've joined the wrong company if you expect to be heralded with a great fanfare. Enough has happened to justify 'the attitude of some people'. Though thats just my personal perspective, having spend over half a year trying to improve the situation and being slapped in the face time and time again - kinda like whats happening to you guys now! Funny how that goes, apparently people do not like being slapped in the face and retaliate when they ARE slapped in the face? Perhaps its time for 22cans as a whole to stop slapping the target audience? =D
