They have told us several times that we have paid for a "lifelong subscription" which would mean that anyone who already "purchased" the game through Kickstarter or Steam would not have to pay for extra content. Well, I'm not entirely sure about the Steam buyers but for Kickstarter I'm pretty sure.

So indeed so for the Steam buyers as well? Or indeed so as in only the kickstarter buyers? Both, Peter has included the steam customers in this on several occassions - most notably regarding refunds (which has been a big point for steam customers after they found out that we're looking at a mobile game while they were never informed of that beforehand). Peter's answer to that was that they'd have a lifelong subscription and that 1~2+ years from now they'd be able to return to a 'delicious' experience without having to pay extra.

Yes, to the best of my knowledge we bunch all Steam Early Access customers and Kickstarter backers in the same group for activities like this. Allow me to be clear though - we have precisely zero plans for DLC add-on packs. Not ruling it out (that would be presumptuous), but it's not even anywhere near our radar. Nobody's even mentioned it, not even slightly.

I guess we just ruined that for ourselves, since in the next meeting you'll be forced to mention the worries by the community that 22cans will be coming with DLC. And thats where the seed gets planted! ;p

Wait so, all we need to do is only suggest awesome stuff? Like don't mention anything bad or any current features at all, just have every post for an entire week consisting of just one word: Dinosaurs.
The next feedback meeting will be great, because any question will have to be answered dinosaurs and then my minions in Godus will be running around trying to escape being eaten by dinosaurs, which will be freakin awesome.

I'm having the strangest feeling of deja vu by looking at that particular thread - haven't I seen its likes before? Like, atleast half a dozen times before? And still it needs to be asked? Do they expect the answer to change? Cause I'm pretty sure the answer has been the same for the entire duration of Godus being in Early Access. Relevant choices with actual consequences, removal of stickers, adversity (be it nature or otherwise), diversity (not have every player be a duplicate of eachother) and so on.

It has begun! The ideas that have spun off of that discussion are pretty amusing. George and I were having a chat earlier today on Skype and I kept hearing him giggle* while I was talking. I asked him what was funny and he was telling me about some of the posts he was reading in that thread. * It's a very manly giggle, to be clear.

Well this particular one is where the devs themselves wonder aloud in a blog post and we're left going... That's what you're wondering about? Really? Then we rehash what we've wanted to see to kill time while they put together the update and then irrationally bite each others' tails over nothing we can control. Meanwhile Matthew and George try talking to busy people and organize news posts to occupy us with and when that's all fruitless, sip tea and try to talk out our frustrations like inadvertent psychologists/psychiatrists. After it all comes to a close for a day we wonder briefly what we're doing with our lives dwelling on uncontrollable things but then we continue to do it anyway with some other semi-trivial matters of life until we learn better or keel over dead.

I want dinosaurs to be in GODUS so badly. How is it I've never seen that suggested before now?

I had a thread called Amazing Thread of Randomness or something and we pretty much suggested Purple Apes from Outer Space to Dinos to you name it. LOL. We need a thread like that over here.
