Oh, suggestion - go look around on the map. Move North/East in direction to around where the Volcano used to be. There's something you might not have seen before there. Cool thanks. I just ran in some of that and was think that is a good addtion to the game and having seen the rest of it now, Thanks for the hint, That is a very good addition. Now of the PC sprint will fix the other bad things ported over I will be much happier.

Anyone know off the top of their head where the saved game data is located (Windows)? It appears I am still pooched on Voyages, even with a re-install. Go into steam folder. Then steamapps. Then keep clicking on the top folder until you come to the folder which contains a folder called prf..something..something. Delete that folder. Thanks. I suppose I had assumed when I uninstalled the game it got rid of that folder for me. Gmr got me all squared away Hoping voyages work this time around.

Oh fun fact by the way, sacrificing followers isn't enjoyable at all because it makes your people unhappy and unwilling to breed for awhile. Some of you may have already seen it, but according to Digital Jam, it delays breeding by around 45 minutes I think he/she said.

I have managed to get as far as the introduction of the pit of doom. Not really had any technical issues I think. I just don't have a will to move on at the moment. The unskippable straightjacket tutorial has managed to hammer any enjoyment I might have had out of it. At the point I got to the land looked exactly the same as it was in the previous build. Haven't bothered to scroll around to see if the rest of it is different. Maybe on another day I would feel differently about it. I have a feeling I will have to recharge my curiosity for a while before I try to go any further. Shame.

Yea the dev commentary mentions something along those lines. That it can take up to 30~60 minutes to "regrow" your sacrificed follower. Not that I can sacrifice any at this point in time, as I've blocked the entire thing off (apparently you HAVE TO enter it from the front, sides don't count...)

It seems to me (especially when considering the still upcoming hubworlds) that the emphasis for Godus is more and more on the 'minigame' aspect.
"Godus isn't a game where you focus on doing ONE thing, but instead where you are doing many different things at once. If you're ever sitting around waiting, you're doing something wrong." (paraphrasing the Dev Commentary)
*edit* To the person saying that subsequent voyages don't give gems: There apparently are 3 voyages which you can pick from, the 'default' selected one (after finishing the 'tutorial voyage') has a ? reward (so a card I guess?), the second one gives grain and belief, the third one should give gems (if I'm interpreting the icons correctly).

That was my impression too, but one of the fellows over on the Steam forums is saying they all provide them. Not sure if he/she has gotten past the tutorial ones yet or not to verify though. Also about the mini-games, yep, called it. Homeworld's yet another hub/lounge area for mini-games and everything between them and hubworld activities.

Doing the Azure Shores (or whatever its called) set right now, its 10 voyages each giving 1 sticker (can't see what the final one gives though, again I assume a card unlock)
I really need the finger of god unlock at this point in time, so I can get access to the stupid pit of doom. I REALLY wish they'd just give the player the option to place structures like these for yourself, instead of forcing them onto you in pre-determined locations like you're following in the footsteps of some previous civilization.
This is supposed to be a godgame, not some settlers game (pun intended, yes in settlers 2 you did follow in the path of another civilization and the way you unlocked new tech was by finding ruins of old structures)
Also, I don't know whether I'm just utterly blind or what - but I've yet to find any of those "hidden chests" on a voyage. Anyone know of any?

I want to say I have seen a card fly down to the gem market in the lower right and I assume it is some kind of gem reward.

I want to say I have seen a card fly down to the gem market in the lower right and I assume it is some kind of gem reward. First set of 8 levels give stickers and gems. The subsequent options are 3 sets of voyages. The first one of which (Azure *something*) only gives stickers and supposedly ends with a card unlock. The other two show grain/belief and gems as their "reward" icon.

Heh... GravesyGames' Twitch stream that PM himself twattered about ended at ~2 hours due to... you guessed it... timers (his only criticism so far)... /eyeroll
He had used up all his gems and done a few voyages at that point as well.

You can disable them in options under landscape shadows, just click the little slider. Also, I don't know whether I'm just utterly blind or what - but I've yet to find any of those "hidden chests" on a voyage. Anyone know of any? They aren't in the voyages. I think you may have read too quickly, they're in any old chest in your Homeworld.

Okay so I have a giant settlement of 100 people and it's giving me 300 belief an hour. The balance on this is just horrible, absolutely horrible.

Voyages 5 or 6 and voyage 8 of the arctic expedition have 3 chests each in (I think it was only 2 of them, it could have been 3 wasn't paying a huge amount of attention). I've not quite finished swamped yet, but i've done the rest and none of them had chests in apart from the aforementioned ones.

I really don't care for voyages that much (follower pathfinding is such garbage), and since they're such a time intensive gameplay mode, I didn't think they'd be silly enough to bother placing chests in the maps. Also, screw this 5th map on the Azure Archipelago voyage. The followers are ridiculously suicidal no matter which way I sculpt this. >_> Quickest route != smartest/best route.

*Achievement unlocked* - your game crashed when trying to place down your first farming settlement!
I've managed to complete Azure Archipelago aswell as the starting set. No big issues with that here.
