"Ok bitches, get out of bed and start plowing!", says the pimp. Can't they also get plowed in the bed? I think everyone is going hungry...

This thread appears to be rather popular with guests. It's been around for a mere 3 days and has already had almost 2500 views. In comparison, the (ir)Relevant tweets thread has been around since march 13th and is 20 pages long and has had about 5600 views.

That is a bit unexpected. Maybe it got linked to somewhere?

I suspect it has to do with a combination of things - most notably the fact that its a 'playthrough' of 'godus' using the 'settlement update' I wouldn't be surprised of people linked it for the same reason.

Hmmm, so I just got to the point where I have almost a thousand gems stored through sacrifice. I only need about half a dozen more cards all of which are unlocked by ore (so a couple good mining settlements should get me there) - and then I'll be done. Nothing more to do in this build.
Not counting the idle time of having the game run to get chests spawn through storms, I've played only a handful of hours... Its funny when you consider that the previous version actually had MORE to do than this one.

You are a patient man, Danjal. I touched it once more last night since my initial play, and got far enough to see that the next abodes are more than double the time of the 7 minute ones, and that was enough for me. I don't think I'm anywhere near seeing most of the things added to this update, and I doubt I'll dabble much more with it for the time being.

Well, correct me if I misjnterpreted, but I believe the difference is that you're still trying to play the game; you're probably not following Peters guidance to the letter, but you're still trying to play the way they expect. But Danjal gamed the game, by taking advantage of the Pit of Doom's 'Followers for Gems' exchange program. Essentially he did what Peter never expected; he murdered all his people and then used gems to boost everything, compensating for tbe negative effects of doing so. He played the numbers and exploited a loophole created in the rushed effort to keep the gems in the PC game.

I just found out something interesting. Not sure if anyone else has posted it yet. But you can leash followers from abodes to settlements. If you have breeder space. They will walk up touch the settlement turn into a farmer then walk to the entrance be count as a farmer for a sec then change tyo a breeder. You can not leash an homeless follower back into an abode nor permanently convert them to a farmer.

So... I just spent 2 hours getting enough gems to fill a farm settlement - assuming that by "Fill" it would increase the number of residents, because I am in desperate need of farmers... and a four day timer is insane. Instead, it just fills the belief bubble. There is no info that states what "Fill" means. I am so frakin pissed at this fraggin game.

Lol. Always good to spend some gems on belief. I've spent most of my gems accidentally, because they get used up without any prompt (or indication that you'll even be spending them, like on the god powers).

I wish they'd keep it more simple like the mana in Populous.
