Because it's fun. Not very productive, but fun.* (Sorry, Peter.) *This is the kind of silly stuff that I do late at night. On weekends. When most people are either drunk, or asleep.

Someone over on Neogaf perfectly nicked this choice quote: ""We can't be so crude in making the first thing we teach people in these games how to speed things up by spending gems. That's absolutely insane." Unfortunately it's not entirely out of context.

May I? Alternate: "Yeah, I'm worried about that, but those risks are worth taking," Molyneux says. "We could layer in 'it takes six days to build this house', and maybe we'd make a shitload of money, but that's not my ambition for games."

Not handy with Photoshop, but here is a magnificent quote to take out of context.
"...get as much money out of those whales as you possibly can, and then as soon as you've raped them for their money, you tell them to fuck off and move on to the next one..." - Peter Molyneux
To be fair he was saying something quite the opposite in the original quote, but the current situation surrounding Godus makes it hilarious.

And another from the same interview... "The only time I think you should take a player to a shop that quickly in a game I think is if your game is about shopping." - Peter Molyneux

I love your work. Hopefully the cans appreciate the humour and put some of the best images on peters desk so he can enjoy them with his morning coffee.

These are brilliant, do you think you can submit them to the Godus wiki, and try and get some of those goddies they offered contributors?
Alternatively can we have some of these made up as t-shirts, mugs, dart boards?

"It gets harder and harder to squeeze money out of addiction. That's what drug trafficking does"
Peter's Latest release:
Alternatively I think someone with Photoshop skills could really work with this image:

Hehe, perhaps we should make this a weekly competition. Find the best PM quote and turn it into a piece of art.

Ofcourse I want it to work, just imagine the look on his face when he encounters his own quotes thrown back at him all over the internet! Absolutely 'delicious'!

I don't feel vindicated or happy or or satisfied in any way. This all just makes me really sad. I pray that PM actually listens to the bakers, gamers and critics and makes a real game for the PC.

Do I find joy in others failures? Nah. Do I think it's sadly hilarious we've all been Molyneux'd yet again? kinda. I think we can mostly agree it's pretty sad just how turned around this entire endeavor has been. It makes you wonder if PM is aware of just how badly he appears to be sabotaging his own loudly touted ideals. I wanted to believe Molyneux. I wanted the game he originally pitched. It's possible he still might squeeze something out... but he's off to a terrible start. #inbefore"itsnotafinishedgame!" #inbefore"Populouscametogetherat90%!"

I think the million dollar question right now is what does Peter Molyneeux think? Can he tell the difference between his BS and reality? Or does his constant and continuous BS convince even himself - it's possible isn't it? But then what does everyone at 22cans think? After all they must all now that every release of a patch is only met with the same requests and the same criticisms from the community, and it's been what 15 months since alpha release? Could 22cans fire PM? Ultimately is he accountable to anyone?
