Should we name the Augurs?

Hi geeky, as you can see, I am here.

And yes, it would be funny. Infact! I am going to dig through the Augur forum to see if I can find the posts where I suggested people. Also, there we some people we discussed that would NOT be suited as Moderator at 22Cans, but those were on skype, so I can't retrieve that. But I do know that both sides of the Graystone account, whilst popular among the vote for 'Modus', weren't considered to fit with Sam's mentality.

The following, in decending order were suggested, the higher in the list, the earlier they were suggested;

Prior on skype suggestions; (no links available, and not complete.)
Who would be the 'second' augur, seeing as I was first, and suggested by sam himself;
These are in no particular order, just as I remember them; Aynen, Muir, TigrisMorte, Graystone

Aynen was rejected, because he was forum moderator on a board were the emotional side was very important. He viewed problems from a 'how do you feel about that', rather than factual. It didn't seem to fit. And was also on GMT+1, which I learned after a brief chat.
TigrisMorte was rejected because he was a rightout arse. Whilst he did good as a member, it wouldn't be nice to have someone like that be moderator.
Graystone was rejected because the account had two people behind it, and the woman seemed highly flamable, and rather quick to judge. The male side, was dutch, so wasn't applicable for the time zoneing. It needed to be someone not on timezone GMT+1
Muir was one of the few suggested left, and seemed to fit the profile, (polite, easily approachable, positive towards 22Cans.) Thus, the second augur was selected.

After this, we created a forum topic, and started suggesting other people;

memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=2370 - JamesM (Australian guy, we needed other time zones, he was one of the nicest among them. For an Auzie.)
memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=2040 - we6jbo (American guy, again, needed different time zones. He caught my eye in the way he replied to people.)
memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=2534 - Skyfish (Norwegian woman, very polite, seemed to act much like myself before I switched to Augur.)
memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=298 - Azard (English lad, even created Facebook profile for 22Cans. Seemed somewhat emotional, but usually kept it cool. Very likely candidate.( Eventually did become third Augur.))

After we had suggested Azard, and sam had reviewed our choice, he asked us for the okay, and contacted him. He joined us shortly after.

Though after two months of not being active, he stated the following;
I would not worry I have not checked in for ages. Time to remove my access Sam!

This is the last post he made on that account.

Geminu'tite (Muir) is also one of the moderators on Steam,
Umbra'lite (Myself) has access to Zendesk, but cannot handle tickets. I can merely view them. I could in the past escalate them to the correct person, but that has since been taken away, because one of the applications that handles emails into Zendesk tickets, needed that right, and thus the 'for pay' part of my account has been given away.

PS. I realize that it seems as if we do not have considered the 'time zone' issue. Well! Appears that was not needed. I often was around at busy times, well until after 2PM. And most of the posts made during the night, could often be moderated during the 'silent time' around 9 AM when I got out of bed. I had no job at that time, and was able to sit behind my PC 24/7. Which, I never did. 14/7 at most

This does not surprise me. I would disagree and say you do need some people with a bit more of an edge to them. I did not want or ask for a position as a Mod. I quite enjoyed being a poster and not having to worry about modding. I don't consider myself flamable, but I definitely don't pull punches. For the record, when I was a mod/admin, I was a tad more careful how I posted, it does tend to take some of the fun and freedom out of it, if you are at the type of forum that has such heated issues and/or dramas.

The nature of the root problems at Godus reared their head early and so that was my main reason not to want to ever Mod there.

To be honest i dont have much intrest with the Augurs/MODS the only thing i really cared about was updates or even staff members being the mods just some interaction between them and us so we knew what was going on rather than slowly packing up and running with the cash.

I do remember you! it was fun playing and I still play it to this day haha! good to see you again! if you ever fancy a game again or on anything elese give us a pm! hope things are well.

I had a feeling it was you Im rarely on the godus forums due to its deadness hence why i did not contact you again for anouther game haha.
