Hello there, and welcome to my office. I encourage you to relax and help yourself to anything you'd like. The waitstaff will be bringing food around regularly and for mixed drinks I'd encourage you to seek out my on-hand bartender, Chuck. At midnight, the lights will turn off, the fog machines will turn on, and the DJ will start the after party. Just another day at Matthew's Office.
In the meantime, what can I have Chuck get for you?

Mine's a tea. English breakfast, milk, no sugar.

I like: Cats; single malt Scotch; Stargate; Amiga; fried potatoes; retro gaming; cheese; snickers; sticky tape.
I don't like: Dimples in the bottom of scotch bottles; Facebook games masquerading as godgames.

How about a nice single-malt Chuck? And none of that cheap stuff.

You left out the only things I can drink – things that go nicely with cream, like Baileys or Kahlúa.
(also mead, but I only use that for cooking; I've never actually drank it)

I'm a little disappointed that Chuck hasn't gotten me a scotch yet.

Slide me over a Slutty Redhead, chilled with a twist, and keep her neat.

I've grown a fondness for Rum and diet Coke. Sadly, I'm stuck sober for the next 3 years so it's an academic fantasy at this point...

I think Chuck is off to Scotland to brew his own whisky.

I drink Yuengling beer, but a case of 12 bottles can last me a month or more. Not much of a drinker, really. I chose other because my drinking is infrequent and varied.

I had me some Yuengling when I was over in the States visiting a friend. It was alright. He also liked Moosehead. Ever had any of that?

Like I said, I'm not much of a drinker, so I either stick to what I know, or if I try something new I rarely recall what it was - especially if I had it months or years ago.

I hope Chuck has been treating you all well. As for myself, I'm happy with a glass of scotch, neat. Lagavulin is a nice one if anyone's looking for a good scotch to try. Other than scotch, I'm satisfied with most other spirits (bourbon is a close second for me). When it comes to beer, I actually happen to live in a city which has more breweries per capita than any other city in the country, lending us the unofficial title of Beer City, USA. As such, I've tried a wide and expanse variety of beer in my time here. My favorites tend to linger with a good Pisgah Pale Ale during hot summer days or a Green Man Porter if I'm wanting something heavier or, as is more likely the case, something complimentary to a steak dinner or equivalent.
See you around the office. Don't hesitate to pester Chuck for anything of your choosing. Cheers.

Pinot, Noir or Grigio. We prefer sweet wines, like Riunite Lambrusco, and the ever cheap Boones or Arbor Mist. Don't judge, it's what we like. Chuck, an Arbor Mist Sangria with a splash of cran and a twist please!
