Hi Colin. It's been a while and I see that you've missed me.
A support thread is not the place to try to set any expectations for a customer or point out "facts".
That helps to start this reply out on the right tone:
You are an unashamed liar.
Pointing out in a support thread that 22cans has hardly any regular support or passing care towards their customers (then along comes the "daily" farce to top the irony) is more than fair enough. One moment.

This is what "daily support" means.
It also looks like a lot of (more) evidence for Colin lying.
("UA" - used for unanswered, also has a military meaning of "Unauthorised Absence" - "AWOL" to the old salt.)
Here is where CyberGrim (the only "Support" visible around 22cans aside from forum moderators expected to work for free) posts in the last two months on the bugs&glitches forum:

steamcommunity.com/app/232810/discussions/2/527274088401172457/It isn't as if there are tons of threads on the Steam forums to pick through to see one thread asking for help that goes unanswered for over a month.
That evidence alone points towards you lying again with the number you've cited as likely arsepull.
"Daily" generally implies a 24-hour reply cycle for working days to at least receive a response, not weeks to Never. I think your measurements are off when people are unable to quantify 22cans support response times with a clock and instead require the use of a CALENDAR.So, instead of what you said, you might have wanted to go with the truth - something a bit like:
"Every couple of months we'll allow CyberGrim one day to publicly offer support upon the Steam forums."Before 16 Oct it was 2 Sep when CyberGrim was allowed to offer support upon the only place to download Godus for PC.
Then there's also the neglect hole of the "official forums" where folks can see that questions and problems go unanswered:
www.22cans.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=34Please try to cite again where you're offering support, because from what is publicly-viewable you're probably lying. Or you can try to explain how the workload from all else just makes it *impossible* to offer support upon a forum which smaller companies are able to do so on a regular basis.
Wouldn't want anyone to edge in on YOUR job, since 22can't-be-arsed doesn't even have a CM anymore...
There's enough of people doing unpaid work that you wouldn't want to be made redundant, such as those moderators expected to handle a forum without proper company Support, Feedback, and CM presence, right?
Oh...so if he's not fully Support then who is? Or am I right in
surmising seeing the obvious that 22cans doesn't have someone to address "daily support"?
Where is the CM whose job it is to interact with the community?
Oh, that's right...22can't hold onto a CM because of the cases of rampant EMPLOYEE ABUSE - BY - 22cans in not allowing a CM to do their job. That is the #1 reason why no CM will stick around - they can collect up all the feedback they can as if they were working for a company that cared about feedback, but unless Production un-stuffs itself then all that feedback will be (and has been treated as) useless, and so the CM looks useless to the public and the community of the game and receives unjustified ire because of the (mis)management of the company. So if the CM looks useless because of stuffed Production, that is a mark on the CM's employment history (ask SamVT/George/Matthew about this).
That a feedback sheet from a previous CM had to be unearthed like a relic from a former era...says a lot about how much 22cans really cares about their community and participation in the Early Access program - somewhere between Jack and Shit, and Jack Attridge left already. Then supposedly Peter has been doing more work on Godus than The Fail in the last two months...but of course that isn't update-worthy in the least. Which is why you stopped doing that much, right? No updates while Peter's supposedly working upon this?
And 22cans provides "daily" support...
I really wonder if you honestly believe even half of the rubbish you've posted in that reply or if it's something provided to you along with the monetary compensation for swallowing your personal integrity.
Hold on, I have a GREAT example:
YOU ARE A LIAR!
store.steampowered.com/earlyaccessfaq/Get involved? That requires feedback, which there's fuck-all capacity/ability/willingness for game feedback from 22cans right now - they can barely even offer support as evidenced by the Steam forum!
So the lack of a CM means that Godus is further from being an Early Access product now than it was a year ago.So what has 22cans done about that feedback?
The lack of any real company presence around the Early Access program upon Steam*, much less the actual ability to address feedback, really points to a problem where 22cans somehow believes that they are participating in Early Access...or feels the need to lie about that participation some more. Keeping quiet about what is being done until you unveil a cow-clicker in bait & switch was COMPLETELY OPPOSITE to the spirit of the Early Access program; that 22cans continues along this path suggests a further disconnect from any desire to actually participate in the Early Access program.
* - Except to occasionally dodge out to tack something to the outside of the virtual store, then dash back into the building to avoid as many questions and concerns as possible while clutching onto the handful of Likes some folks threw their way in some encouragement.
I had thought that by removing a "meanie" or two (since I also apparently counted as "several people" at times) that a convenient excuse by 22cans wouldn't be able to be played anymore and they could actually be arsed to do anything outside of status quo.
Nope, it appears that 22cans wants to still be shit (to borrow from Simon's words) and maybe even try for worse.
So why any surprise or upset on any 22canners' part when people still call 22cans shit?
Oh, right - that supposedly amazing Combat Update that will make everyone so thrilled with a game that is otherwise a cow-clicker when other games can manage a good game AND good combat. Yes, Combat will definitely change
the whole game...and that is the lie you and Simon have been effectively peddling quite consistently for your time there at 22cans.
More like, with the posted financials, 22cans is trying to come up with any kind of profitability to sustain the company (or even make a dent in the red) until The Fail can be announced. If you don't want folks to come up with the latter, then you probably should be offering some info to support something else, versus the silence and later sulky admissions when you're backed into a corner that have been characteristic of whenever 22cans has been caught at their...let's just say "poor communication" would be putting it QUITE mildly.
22cans demanding apologies...that's cute. Really, it is. Then refusing to speak about it outside of Steam really makes Colin officially Worse Than Dave. As much as folks might like to try to point out that a lot of problems were the result of the company's line of abuse and mistreatment (which extends greatly to their own employees - which is why a number left)
that bit of rubbish
was all you.
Even
Aynen is now able to own up to his own actions, which is an improvement among a few that he has made compared to a few months ago. In fact, I've seen the most - if any - improvement come from the 22cans moderators. It sucks that we had to hold them to what they did in that fashion, but it was the only way to show them how they're similarly being abused by 22cans in having to deal with a number of abuses (that includes lacking support) by 22cans and having to deal with the irate customers -
all while 22cans obviously neglects the Early Access program on almost all counts except for taking money for an unfinished product and fulfills nothing else.Cheers, liar.
PS: Here's a freebie - Do you realise that in software development terms, every time someone at 22cans refers to Godus as being in a "beta" stage of development they are lying about the state of product?
