Some really fun games in that list, if you like that sort of thing. I have played the Tales of Monkey Island and Back to the Future games from Telltale. ToMI is not quite up to par with the originals, though they made a good effort. BttF is far too easy to get through and feels like you're watching a movie but instead of sitting back and relaxing you have to constantly perform menial tasks and wait in order to enjoy it. Though somehow it's still not too bad, if you like the BttF movies it offers you a new story to enjoy. I've also played Simon the Sorcerer to some extent but I must say I don't remember too much about it. And I know lots of people are fan of the Sam & Max adventures, though I've never played them myself.

I agree, Telltale was doing some odd experimenting or something with those games and they come off a bit... stiff. And slow. And linear. But, as a fan it is enjoyable... and at least they were complete and meaningfully functional games. I have only played one Sam & Max game, and it was amusing. I'm not a fan of the tendancy to "over-cgi" all these adventure games (I'm looking at you, Telltale) - it feels too amateurish and badly animated - and wish they'd step back a bit and reflect some of the more nostalgic graphic styles of yore. There are a bunch of adventure games with less attention (and no known franchised licensing attached) that have amazing stories and artwork; and I wish Telltale would take a cue from them and apply it to these beloved classics/remakes.

I've heard Telltale are quite proud of their zombie game, whatever the title of it may be.

I've played a lot of Lords of the Realm and Lords of Magic. My wife actually played through all the Empire Earth games. She loves city builder games, like Zeus, Poseidon, Age of Empires, etc. I have all the Rollercoaster Tycoon games, too. Fun stuff.
So many games.

OMG Lords of the Realm was such a great game in its day. Im sure it would be complete balls now but I loved it back then.

Yes the first and second Lords of the Realm i liked, too. Lords of Magic was great, too.
I really loved Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 - 2, but there haven been limits for attractions/rides, staff and guests. I think it was 255 for attractions and rides - especially in big parks with all addons i reached that limit often.
RCT3 was not really bad, but more or less it was a rct 1-2 in 3D. I wished they would have expanded the management part of the game, instead of upgrade the graphics. But yes i like those iso 2D games, i think the graphics look great even 20 years later - 20 years old 3D games look terrible for me. Now i am waiting for www.themeparkitect.com/ looks promising.
Hm, Trainfever is on GOG now. I think i buy it a second time drm free. Have not found many games i want in the ongoing DOUBLE INSOMNIA PROMO until now.
