Maybe. Constitution's an amendable document and all, but there's a let's say sizable run of xenophobia on a national level that would prevent anything like that happening in the near future. His run as Governor was short and, surprisingly, not a total disaster relative to normal CA politics. Now we're back to Jerry Brown. Again. When he dies, we'll probably clone him just to keep throwing him in the office for some reason. He sounds like what Delaware did with Biden for years, now the man is VP. I won't go any further into politics but I would mention that perhaps I choose the wrong field of expertise at some point in my life's career path. It's never too late to become a politician.

Ouch... that was thinly veiled. While I may not like Godus I'm not sure I've ever wished anyone out of a job

Ouch... that was thinly veiled. While I may not like Godus I'm not sure I've ever wished anyone out of a job I would assume that was more of a blanket statement intended to let posters know that while he is willing to discuss further in PM, he will still have to be cautious as to who and how he goes about it.

It's all a bit of a storm in a teacup tbh. The edited posts make it sound like something extremely juicy was revealed, but it's really just the usual malarkey about NDAs and release policies.

Yeah, I wouldn't take that personal. Really, we're all strangers on an internet forum here, he absolutely shouldn't trust anyone with information that could jeopardize him.
Hell, I'm a nice guy and would wish no harm to ole Monkeythumbs, but really as far as he knows I'm just some anonymous dude who has stated point-blank that I pay attention to Godus for the Schadenfreude. Were I in his shoes I doubt I'd have even clarified as much as he did in the very first post in this thread.

Fair enough. Guess I'll head back to my robotics then Interesting, please tell us more. Sounds more interesting than it is. I work in offline programming of industrial robots for use in the manufacturing industry. (This could be construed as off-topic mind...)

Bingo, that's exactly right. Nope, it still makes no sense. CrumpySix, think for a second what your suggesting, Your saying that their is a NDA which forbids you from disclosing the T&C to put an app on the App store. But hang on what is the barrier to entry to register as a developer on the App Store? Their aren't any, you don't even need to know how to program... Thus why would you have a NDA to protect info that anyone can access anyway?
In fact if you think about it you need to see the T&C before agreeing to them, thus the T&C are in the public domain as if you click No you are not bound by any conditions and can discuss them to your heart content. You can't protect info via a NDA which you have already put in the public domain as it's public knowledge and thus you can't suffer and loss from my disclosure as you have already disclosed it...
So on reflection, their argument isn't really standing up to scrutiny.
Because they need cover for the fact that the whole PC sprint BS is nothing but bringing the crap they have designed for iOS over to us "whiny pieces of shit" that they begrudge having to pretend to care about?

Call me naïve, guidable, or whatever, but I really think that there are some at 22cans who really do want to sort out this "game". I'm just thinking about it from the point of view of someone who enjoys the job they do; I would not want to do a job that I found soul destroying. Given that some/many at 22cans are themselves gamers like us, if all they saw themselves doing for the next year(?) or so was cosmetic surgery to a f2p game would you really want to remain an employee there? Now I don't know what Peter's intentions are, but I think there are some who do genuinely want change, as I think this shows: What we do in this moment is going to be critical in getting back on course towards making a great game. What we do now, is not going to be the same as we have done before, it can't be. And by we, I mean all of us, not just the people sitting inside the 22cans office. We want a change to core mechanics in the paid version, now is the time. We need to realise we do have a common goal. Sometimes, and I believe this time, the means will justify the ends.

We want a change to core mechanics in the paid version, now is the time. We need to realise we do have a common goal. Sometimes, and I believe this time, the means will justify the ends. I actually agree on all the "motives of employees" points. I even think Peter wants to make a great game. Sadly I think the MBA partner is driving the "must monetize everything" "more cash is all that matters" decisions. But, avoiding that industry norm is the point of Kickstarter. 22cans used Kickstarter to get "other people's money" and then made a souless demon spawn piece of pay to win garbage. And the "lies" (my opinion) that they were going to have any concern for the PC when the only activity to date is to port the iOS P2W pure crap, with great art style, is disgusting and offensive. I understand that my "passion" and demeanor are off putting. In my defense, again, I was nice for a year and ignored. Now I'll still be ignored but shall feel better for spewing bile upon this wretched foul misuse of gamers out of greed (EA is expected to be a souless puke filled mass of excrement, they're an old school corp. Expected better of 22 cans. I appear to publicly display that disappointment. And no, you mindless MFs, I am not angry because I didn't understand the game wasn't yet finished or think it is taking too long. GFY.). With me you may take offense, won't be offended if you do and shall apologize to you for it so just tell me so, but you can know I shall speak honestly and won't lie to get money from you, unlike 22cans.

You're right that I wouldn't be hanging around if that's all it was. For example, I was given the option to hang around after Max Payne 3 was released, and do some DLC work, and recieve my completion bonus. I don't stick around places for money, I do it for the love of the game. Sure, these last months have been tough, but I don't expect them to be around much longer as we're done with the main breach into mobile now. From now on, I expect to be doing much more work on making the game great, rather than just make the game exist.

oh, and with all respect, "We need to realise we do have a common goal. Sometimes, and I believe this time, the means will justify the ends." comes across as yet more of the same "we won't hit you anymore, we've changed!" crap they've spewed dozens of times now. Unfortunate they must live with the reality of their actions. "Just wait for the total rewrite, we understand your concerns!", meant they were making an engine change because the mobile game had issues. "We get that you are frustrated with the timers and shall fix it.", meant they were going to add another paywall and leave timers virtually unchanged. "just wait for the PC sprint.", meant they were going to port the pure P2W iOS elements which they didn't before only because they wanted the iOS release to not have all our PC foulness until after.
These are just a few highlights.
Sorry, but until they show any actual proof, it is just more lies.
22cans can take their P2W tablet game they think PC should accept the port of and rot in hell with it. I shall do everything I can to see that goal accomplished. Perhaps the cautionary tale shall prevent another MBA from bastardizing an entire company or at least Kickstartering it.
Should 22cans prove me wrong be correcting what their every action to date shows, I'll apologize publicly and passionately. Sadly that is never going to be required. Leopard, spots and all that.
