I do, I don't care for football. Nobody does. But you still have to vote. Muahahahah! Which country would you represent?

I'm not really a football fan myself, but I've shared it with the team here at the studio.

Do you think it's a good idea, Lord Ba'al? You help them divide the community. Divide and conquer, right? Muahahaha! Seriously though, it's all in a spirit of friendly competition. In my experience these kind of events tend to bring people together instead of splitting a wedge.

After just seeing video update #43 I think I may have to adjust my goodwill meter down a notch, or four. I haven't watched it (I haven't actually watched any of the videos, which makes me thankful for your transcripts). What's the gist of it?

No shit, roadmap blog was such a nice step (no sarcasm, that was actually the best thing from 22Cans since KS ended) and then Peter just takes 2 steps back with his iterative design bullcrap.

Almost a third of the way through. It will probably take me about an hour and a half to two hours to finish it.

Impressive work, Lord Ba'al. This kind of stuff - Jack Attridge "So you’re saying that people shouldn’t worry if what they’re seeing right now isn’t what seems like a complete game." - is kind of annoying. People aren't worrying or complaining because it doesn't seem like the game is complete. That's not an issue for, as far as I can tell, anybody. They're complaining and worried because the fundamental mechanics that are there are bad, and have gone to great lengths to spell out why.

Yes, thanks Ba'al for taking one for the team and actually sitting through all of that. I would have broken my monitor at, "So you’re saying that people shouldn’t worry if what they’re seeing right now isn’t what seems like a complete game." I have never seen anyone so in denial. I've had friends, one paid the mortgage on a house for several years while their exGF was living in it with the new BF, whom I thought were totally clueless. 22cans sure showed me. They have achieved a new level of "without a clue" I was certain was not possible to exist.

am I right in assuming that PM hasn't played the game in over nine and a half months? I really hope he just pulled that particular book out of the pile randomly, instead of appearing to grab it from the top of the pile which leads me to think it's the most recent.
Someone please tell me I'm wrong here.

That was a carefully prepared book and quote. He needed to make sure to focus on totem powers because that's like the only thing they actually changed. Imagine if he'd pull up any book and read 'After 40 minutes user has too much belief and can sculpt anything. make lowest level houses not generate belief, limit the player to only be able to sculpt a few layers at the beginning. Allow sculpting of other layers after 100 hours.
