Ah, upon further review I see him pull it from a separate area. I guess if he read from something more recent that would give away the "exciting, zen-like things" that they might have jotted down, and we all know that can't happen.

That was a carefully prepared book and quote. He needed to make sure to focus on totem powers because that's like the only thing they actually changed. Imagine if he'd pull up any book and read 'After 40 minutes user has too much belief and can sculpt anything. make lowest level houses not generate belief, limit the player to only be able to sculpt a few layers at the beginning. Allow sculpting of other layers after 100 hours. He picked up a "random" book and then instead of opening it on a random page he proceeded to flip through pages for what seemed like an eternity (relatively speaking) until he arrived at the exact page he was looking for. Then it still took him a couple of seconds to find the right sentence on the page. So either he was indeed looking for an exact topic in the book or there never was a book and he just made it look like he was looking for a certain page while in reality just talking from the top of his head. |

So, uh, if my HUD disappears, what to I do? Settings -> Keyboard says hitting B should bring up the timeline, but nothing happens and I have a little message box pointing to nothing saying "Click to go to Godus Powers". Sorry if this has already been covered, but my weak Google-fu skills bring me nothing. Looks like this. |

Perhaps I should put up a Peter Molyneux forum section and Peter Molyneux threads so people could talk specifically about Peter Molyneux and his relation to 22Cans and Godus, but also in relation to Populous and Black and White and Powermonger and Dungeon Keeper and such things. Or about Bullfrog or Lionhead. |
