Everything for the sake of hype! Imagine that, people may accidentally see what a horrible piece of software it currently is. Now that wouldn't be good.
Oh dang, we're in early access, forgot about that. QUICKLY Lets shift focus to mobile where beta software doesn't exist and where we'll be hidden by a mountain of mediocrity!

I put my response on your thread here, if I put it over there I highly doubt it would last long. I prefer not to deal with censorship so mine will live here for all eternity.

Man, gotta love when the Steam forums bug out. If you were to say the Godus forums there were a fire, their instability does a great job pouring fuel everywhere.

Trigger happy mods do a good job at that aswell. Not the first time such an 'oopsie' occurred.

I'm not sure what the intent was with that, but its kinda lost in translation between the exponential growth, poor planning and ridiculous scaling. I wonder if Godus is one big metaphor for why Peter's afraid of managing bigger teams. Stuff like Godus happens, but in real life somehow.

Good advice, if you ask me WARNING: This post may contain traces of humour.

Fun facts: When running Godus with proper PC settings (i.e. large display mode) you're stuck at a stable 30 fps. When running it with what I would imagine are mobile settings (i.e. large display disabled) you're running the generally considered optimal, 60 fps with few dips in framerate.
I'm guessing that you might have an even higher/more stable framerate with the overall reduced graphical quality.

Sometimes I almost feel pity for Peter as he turned his most loyal fans into spawns of Hell (as he himself described community), wrecked his reputation among PC players worldwide and simply refuses to look at the situation.
Then I remember he took my money, broke his promises and insulted me on various occasions (same as everyone else). And the smallest bits of compassion fade away.

Aint no tumbleweeds. We had the 2.3.1 which was not 2.3.1 but 2.2.1 [10260.29122], which got updated with another 2.3.1 which was actually 2.3 [10276.29122], and last night we got 2.2.1 [10260.29122] - again...

Pers: "I'm waitin' on either an earthquake or a mountain range or volcano to happen." Per: "You got way too much time on your hands." Pers: "Yup." That's a pretty accurate summation. Although lately I haven't had much free time, but still have a morbid interest in the fate of Godus. Swooossshh swooooooooshh swooosh (that's the wind blowing the tumbleweeds around in case you were wondering) Lol. For a second I thought it was the sound of people leaving... Aint no tumbleweeds. We had the 2.3.1 which was not 2.3.1 but 2.2.1 [10260.29122], which got updated with another 2.3.1 which was actually 2.3 [10276.29122], and last night we got 2.2.1 [10260.29122] - again... Really? Wow, that's just... wow. I guess that partnership with Perforce isn't helping much. Anyone else smell the beginning of the end? Is that what that smell is? Smells like sour grapes.

Sour grapes? FFrom who? and for what? Their blockbuster sales or failing to agree to make the game they promised with more spin?
No sour grapes from me, I am quite disgusted and not buying the BS. I make no bones about if they are not going to make the PC classic God game we backed for, then I hope they go out of business. No company should be allowed to treat their backers this way and not fail as badly as 22cans is.
