I don't like: Ignoring a unpleasant question or answering with something that is only loosely related or way to vague to actually answer something. Mods that Cherry-pick in discussions. Banning people for minor offenses.

The locking is not. The banning for a thread that insulted nobody and was a first time offense is. Banning some and others not is unfair too. Not even warning some people that break these rules because you find them sympathetic or they talk positive about godus is unfair as well. I've had a chat with our mod staff. In future, we will always warn somebody before giving them a ban of any length. Will the already enforced bans be lifted as a sign to be serious about this desicion? You might think its fair to ban someone who had no ill intent, wasn't particular offensive or has insulted someone for a first time offensive, breaking a unwritten (!) rule he likely had no clue about (*) without warning him first. I don't, not all. And probably pretty much everyone else does neither. Warning first for something that was done with no ill intention and that didn't harmed or insulted anyone should be standard, its common sense imo. I have no clue why you or muir thought that this was ok. (*) Yea, they might should have known that it was against a unwritten rule but nobody reads the manual, agb or rules. Its not as obvious as the rule to not insult or troll and it's definitely not on the same level.

...that forum is common sense the place where potential other buyers will go to, and to have rules that state they are not allowed to ask for their money back or have negative comments about the game, such as , it sucks, is wrong. If someone bought it and want to say it sucks, then they should be allowed to, just place them in an area that does not offend the other posters that don't wish to hear it. This allows potential other buyers to see both sides of the argument. I agree with you 100%. There are plenty of threads on the Steam forum where commenters are expressing their negative opinions about the game and we're not closing them down and have no intention to. The Steam forums have no rules preventing people from voicing negative opinions or negative reviews. As for the 22cans forums, we're going to give them a bit of an overhaul soon, yes. What will be different? New set of abode graphics?

BUT, why don't you just start a thread about this forum? I personally don't mind if it gets bumped every so often. It has been done.

I obviously don't care for the game as it stands at this point to be a watered down F2p. I have no problem with people saying they love it, they love F2p and they are so happy they got it. I never have, but I do have a problem with them telling other's that don't like it, that they are wrong and they are crybabies for stating so. This is when you will see me respond. I also don't wish to see anyone telling someone that they should not like the game because it is a F2p, plenty of people love those types of games. I will respond to those posts too.
There should be a fairness about it and when the fairness is not there, there is an issue. If I am okay with hearing people rave about the game, then they should be okay with hearing people rage about it. Since, they are not, then separate the two PoV and warn them both and treat them both equally.
Whatever guidelines are being used to determine which threads are being locked, are the same ones you can use for which ones that would go into the Negative Feedback. The exception is any truly vile posts such as racism, pornographic, and the ilk.
By having rules directly declaring negative responses as wrong is just so wrong. If I buy something and I don't like, it should make me no less of a consumer. I paid the same for that beer, and I want to sit at the bar and say it tastes like crap, I will. You should not punish your patron by asking them to be quiet or leave just because they want to be able to tell the next person that beer was flat. Make a good drink and soon you will have a bar full of patrons, some might still not be happy but most will. If the patrons don't wish to hear about the flatness of the beer they can avoid that section and everyone is treated fairly.

Wow, you guys are loving Ba'als forum. It's sweet that you think of it like that, but I think of this as OUR forum, as in the community's forum. But I still rule supreme of course, no doubt.

Everytime you type in a question it takes about 2 hours for your post to appear. But you could spend a few gems for it to speed up. Also each key that you type (not post but type on the keyboard, cursor and backspace included) costs you belief. You can collect belief from the posts you've already made, just visit them once a day and click on every 'x' character to collect it. Alternatively you could get some belief with gems. No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either! is a pretty fun f2p game that is refreshingly clear that you can use 'Cold hard cash!!!' to speed things up.

Wow, you guys are loving Ba'als forum. This being said, that is true, but it also it not fair to potential buyers on Steam that have never heard of this forum. I think that this thread on Steam is testament to the fact that people can find honest, unfiltered reviews of the game on that forum, as well as the fact that we have no intention nor desire to stifle people sharing their opinions of the game, provided it doesn't breach Steam's forum rules and guidelines.

Will the already enforced bans be lifted as a sign to be serious about this desicion? Honestly, the haven't harmed or insulted anyone. They had no ill intention.

They are breaking them already though. At least according to the list you gave me. Steam created those bias rules to give the game Devs carte blanche to stifle them, you guys had been pretty much not doing so but now you choose to stifle a few and are using those bias rules as the reason why. Let's go back to that bar. I am the owner of it and I put up a sign that says the following are not allowed. No raised voices. No demanding your money back. No negative comments about the drinks. No casual footwear....( pretty vague, huh?) No yet to be determined other rule I have not decided yet. Now people come into my bar and can buy a drink and hate it, but if they ask for their money back and I ignore them (many have politely asked for their money back and been ignored for months by 22cans) they get upset and so demand their money back... so now I can boot them. Or they get upset and raise their voice... so now I can boot them. Or they start telling other patrons coming into the bar how horrible the drink is.......so now I can boot them. Or I have a feeling they will be a problem at some point so I declare their loafers are causal......so now i can boot them. When all else fails I can create a new rule, that no redheads are allowed and again.......now I can boot them. You might say don't come to my bar now, but I prepaid for that drink and this is the only place I can come to drink it at. Does that sound fair to you?

We're lifting the bans for Drake and Wonkonpa, however we can't lift the bans for Digital Jam, Luffy07, Agamemnon-Hellmapper and Zeruel as they were banned by Steam mods for abusing the reporting system.

Thats a different story of course. Was that the reason they were banned in the first place? In that case I miss attributed their banning which explains why it seemed rather unfair. Edit: I've had a chat with our mod staff. In future, we will always warn somebody before giving them a ban of any length. Didn't you already say this after you banned that Ahaz Flagg guy a week or so ago? He only said that he won't ban for 30 days at the first offense again (so he might ban them for 29 days... :) ). Now he will warn them for the first offense.
