Didn't you already say this after you banned that Ahaz Flagg guy a week or so ago? He only said that he won't ban for 30 days at the first offense again (so he might ban them for 29 days... ). Now he will warn them for the first offense. The only time options that Steam gives is a 1 day, 3 day, 1 week, and 30 day ban (and permanent, of course). So worry not, if it's not a 30 day or permanent then the worst case scenario would only be 1 week. We wouldn't want to do a 29 ban instead of a 30 day; that'd be silly.

Cambridge Beer Festival tonight. All problems solved! If only we were in UK. LOL. Damn it, they could have postponed that festival of "a couple" of days, considering the probable positon of the moon on Endor... Another intelligible question: could there be someday if the game is good and replies to most backers fantasies, some Godus convention someday ? it seems people on this forum slightly gather around cakes and beer theme...

I am sure an unofficial one could be doable either way.....but don't forget the burgers.

Sigh... I wish we could have more lighthearted discussions going on but I guess this is just the hot item right now. This forum has never been more active than it has in the past hour but all of the discussion takes place in this thread. That's all fine of course, but what about some of the other topics worthy of discussion like for example the video transcript threads where some really valid questions have been posed that could use some answers. I find it difficult watching KS videos. They remind me of a time I believed in the pitch and spent £100+ on it. I feel like slapping myself. And I just get angry at people that lied so much. I find Godus reviews on Steam much more therapeutic. Especially this one. And I think I know who made it.

Reading this thread has been a delicious and zenlike experience. Thanks!
The video transcripts are rather interesting, and far easier to digest than the videos themselves. But the heartache, oh the heartache. Reminders of days gone past only serve to remove me from my zen-like state.

It'd be kinda funny though to ban someone and then when the ban is lifted welcome them back in and then tell them "just kidding", BAN! Feeling the power rise up within me.

I don't like: Ignoring a unpleasant question or answering with something that is only loosely related or way to vague to actually answer something. Mods that Cherry-pick in discussions. Banning people for minor offenses.

Try opening a new thread in which you inform how to add tags to godus without using examples...?

Try opening a new thread in which you inform how to add tags to godus without using examples...? If you're looking to harm the game, we're likely to take a very dim view.

Hi George, I think you're wrong with the Steam Tags issue. I haven't found any rule on Steam that says, you must not give tags that "harm the game" (you mean 22cans, don't you?). Even more, the steam tag page says: For example please see the steam store page of "gone home": store.steampowered.com/app/232430It says "Walking Simulator" and "Short". Apparently steam is ok with that, as it is like that at least since February. I don't say that Godus should be tagged with "bad words" ("fraud" etc.), but such that reflect the current state (e.g. that nobody thinks he has to do with a game with a high APM-rate, as this guy during Matthews Twitch-stream). Please think about this, thanks.

Well his thread got locked because of the tags he used as examples, if he would open a thread without mentioning them it would be neutral thread that surely wouldn't violate steam rules. Yes, explaining that feature of steam might harm the game, I'm aware of that. But thats because its so negatively perceived at the moment which is because 22cans harmed this game themselves. No, thats not my intention (in that case I would simply open such a thread myself). If this game were a decent Pc game describing that feature of steam would actually benefit the game, unfortunately its not. It also got "not a game" and "atmospheric". Very fitting tags.

I was not aware of this tagging system so I don't know how it works, but if I were to tag it the first thing that comes to mind right at this very moment is "moneygrabber". Sorry but that's just my opinion. I would love to come up with a different tag but 22Cans would have to prove themselves to me, which is a humongous task, not impossible but it would require a whole mountain of improvements.

I am starting to think some of these decisions about Steam are possibly above the CM's call.

I would love to come up with a different tag but 22Cans would have to prove themselves to me, which is a humongous task, not impossible but it would require a whole mountain of improvements. You find it on the shop-page of any steam game, in the right beside the trailer. I tagged it with delicious, zen-like, slow paced, timers, grinding, simple, mobile, lies and free to play. None of that is wrong or particular bad (except maybe for lies, but I can easily do a collection of lies ... and many things that are most likely lies (will this game ever have tides, erosion and a complex weather/wind simulation? I doubt it...) ) I'm not even sure if it would really harm the game. Its more of a feature for the search algorithm as most people won't bother viewing the tags. Who would search for a game by entering "scam", "money grabber" or "lies"? Though the developers might notice.

Well then tagging it with "boring" wouldn't have any effect either.
