Until the Autumnal Equinox....
Does 22cans have it in them to make a public deadline?!

it's been so long... what was the deadline for? Godus combat release was promise late summer, summer ends at the autumnal equinox.

October 16, 2015 is my prediction for the "release" of Combat. I've had that date in my head since June for some reason.
The six month period touted by 22Cans after the frenzy is nearly upon us; and frankly, it doesn't bode well for them. But hey, on the bright side (for them), just two more months and they can hide behind the "Holidays" wall of an excuse like they have every year.

The end of Summer is this Wednesday. Will the Godus team save Peter, their volunteer mods, and their ban-bait white-knights from making fools of themselves by releasing the combat update on-time? Now that I think about it, 22Cans simply adores redefining well known terms and obfuscating simple language. Maybe "late-summer" was more of a cheeky reference to the late summer months... ...of the southern hemisphere. We shall see.

At a guess I would wager there is no combat update....just as there is no longer any Godus.....just as there is no longer anyone at the office.

"The mere presence of 22cans staff at this forum lends credibility and standing to the forum, regardless of what they say or do here. Their presence indicates that we are a force to be reckoned with. I like that. When non-members view the forum they can see the presence of the 22cans staff which could be a reason for them to join. I like that. When 22cans staff post updates about project godus in any way shape or form, I like that."
Hahahahaha.

Just like Moliar advertised the game to be completed in 9 months, he didn't mention when we could start counting off those 9 months.
So Moliar said "late summer", he didn't mention which summer.
Just like when asked if there will be a shop in Godus, the answer was "right now, there is no shop".
Short live 22 Cons.

I wonder what happened to that great communication and feedback relationship we were supposed to have with 22Cans in regards to Godus and the Combat update. Simon's disappeared, Colin posts updates and occasionally answers mundane questions, and none of the developers are interacting with us anymore.

Maybe the intent is to slowly starve us.

I think so. They want to push us to the four winds so when the (be)trail hit's none of us will be around to remind everything of what has gone before.

Me thirteen (sorry, I couldn't wait for six more to chime in)
I think they either don't have anything much to really share, or are just trying to drag it out until things dry up. We've been down these roads before.
