steamcommunity.com/app/422420/discussions/3/405690850600269998/#c405690850600407789As I can't post there any more due to insta-locking after their post.... was there some kind of development to Godus I've missed over the last year? And how exactly are the people listed in the FAQ when you also apply information we know about who has and hasn't been working on Godus taken directly from 22Can staff from these forums not reflective of efforts being handled by a sub-team within 22Cans rather than their main manpower who are working on that other mobile-only project? As Midnight Bacon seems to think there's something in that FAQ that says something I'm clearly missing.... and if I am, I'd sure like to know what it is and I sure as hell hope they're not trying to say "We say in the FAQ that Godus Wars is a sign of Godus development, so you can't disagree and say otherwise". I think I mentioned this either in this thread or another, but it seems I was sort of right about 22cans' official stance being: Godus Wars and Godus are the same development. The subteam's work on Wars was Godus work, and it is false to claim otherwise. I don't think it has much to do with the subteam claim, though I may be incorrect on this. That's what happens when you start down the path of lies to cover lies; eventually you'll get so deep into the rabbit hole you'll contradict and counteract previous statements, crossing rhetoric, hyperbole, and hypocrisies, unable to tell where your head ends and your ass begins.

They're on the way to getting a serious Steam slap on the wrist. Are we really surprised though, considering how terrible this whole thing has been handled from day one? How can they expect a fair shake with these continuing childish tactics?

Obviously Colin/Matt/Muir haven't learned much in their tenure with 22cans, "keep on doing what you've always done, keep on getting what you've always got" comes to mind. If Molyneux is a changed man, it certainly isn't showing in the way he handles his company's PR. Still trying the same Dystopian shtick, still getting the same response. Baffling only to those at the Cannery.

Is it almost time we fire up this bad boy again: godus.boards.net/thread/890/pr?page=21Like seriously... GWars has only been up for a couple of hours and Colin is already calling people "the usual trolls just trying to stir the pot" and posting nothing but "Peter hate messages".

Nothing in my Steam library. Same. *tin foil hat time* Wouldn't surprise me if they're somehow trying to prevent us from owning our copy so we can't post negative reviews.

GWars has only been up for a couple of hours and Colin is already calling people "the usual trolls just trying to stir the pot" and posting nothing but "Peter hate messages". What the Hell Seriously?! Could they have handled this any worse? Ugh. There goes Colin straight up admitting he's just assuming people are trolling / $#!^posting, when, in fact, they are just normal people posting normal concerns. You can't make this stuff up. Once again I am flabbergasted at 22cans ability to bring their Reality Distortion Field to maximum power, only for it to have no effect on anyone who exists 3 feet from their office. From the sounds of it many people cant even get Godus Wars to load properly... ...seriously?! This isn't Peter hate, this isn't "the usual trolls". This is normal people reacting to your juvenile shell-game-gone-wrong, and your less than appealing offering after months of silence. Get a clue. Thanks.

Anything to turn themselves into the victims You know, one thing I do "like" is that they've not set up a general discussion board, therefore anything not related to feedback on specific elements gets moved to "Off Topic" eventually deleted after a couple of months (probably) and meanwhile their "main" board is clean and tidy and free from all us nasty and trolls and meanies who are blinkered to all the pretty colours

If we're fair to Molyneux, which I believe our extended stay here has shown we're perhaps much too fair and fairer than he is, he probably hasn't ever been fully concerned with the community side of things even when he was heading the business side of 22cans. Nowadays, this is probably all attributable to simon22cans and colin22cans more than Molyneux. Not that that excuses his letting the community tending get as bad as it has been to the point that those two can maintain that poor state, of course. However, continuing to pin it on him seems kind of funny given that he's probably washed his hands of that side of the mess. Credit where it's due, at least he didn't do the childish thing we all expected him to do and drop this project completely without any regard for his responsibilities...Not yet, anyway.

Very true and fairly stated. I totally give them props and kudos for presenting an actual product that shows some effort has been occurring. But everything else seems to be business as usual, with more attempts at shielding themselves, and Peter, from criticism via a fluffy article about how they've changed, and ridiculously transparent forum moderation antics. I do wonder how much is Colin's and Simon's behind the scenes mechanistic control, and Peter's. Maybe he's been insulated, like a mentally fragile senior citizen, while his handlers deal with the estate.

I should have directed that towards Simon. Although I highly doubt Peter is unaware of any of this.

I would hope they wouldn't stoop that low; because it becomes a serious legal matter at that point. Give it time to proc. But we'll put a pin in that thought and revisit it as needed. First step: Do any of the major contributors here have access to Godus Wars yet? Update 1: I just checked, again, and I still do not have it in my library. No emails, either. Update 2: I've been periodically checking both the Store pags, and my game library. At about 2:15 PM US-Central time, it now shows on the Store page that it's in my Library, however, it is not yet present in my actual Library game list (I checked in browser, Steam mobile app, & remotely to my pc). Not sure if there's something I need to do, but at least its saying I have it. Update 3: Still not showing in my games list, 4:27 PM US-Central time. Not sure why.
