All moved into our new house. Now it just take time to sink in. I have only dongles till Monday when Virgin comes to install but at least this place is our home. We were able to get one with a nice sized guest room too. I have started planning for the wedding trip and I must say I really miss our little Ba'al and Quetesh of our furry kind.

Once we can start to save up some cash it will be house warming party time. The weather has turned it's ugly head but no more viewings and so I don't mind at all.

It was a matter of necessity and I pretty much spent 6-8 hours a day, refreshing the realtor pages and then calling and booking viewings. We did on average at least two a day for almost a month. I had a spread sheet on google drive and it was really starting to feel like a second job. LOL. When it came down to it, some luck, a hard sell pitch from me, a very impressive letter from my friend that is a police official in the states and a double deposit did the job. It was not easy with me "not counting" all that much till after the wedding and neither of us having any prior UK ties to show the owner. I have to say that it was mostly blood sweat and tears that got us here and I am eternally grateful to never have to have such open ended future again, knock on wood.

I really don't know how much longer we could have handled the extra rental costs for short term renting. I will be so happy when we can get our stuff and kitties from the NL place and stop that rent as well.
