What you guys will be getting is PC-exclusive modding tools and a dedicated sprint to address some of your gameplay concerns. I've chased up an ETA on both and hope to have answers soon. That's a load of crapola. You're saying that having a dedicated sprint is part of a "Reward" now? Fuck that. That's not a reward, that's a basic obligation 22Cans have to the people who bought their in development concept which will never see the light of day. That's not a situation the community forced on 22Cans, that's a situation 22Cans pulled out their arse to explain the situation and the shit state of the PC development... that mobile was getting their sprints and PC would get theirs later. And that was the core development obligation they put on themselves. As for the PC community isn't suffering from game-breaking issues.... Gems. |

What you mean to say here is that the software can activate, and you can interact with it. Enjoyment's entirely subjective, but the general consensus seems to be it's about as enjoyable as watching paint dry or grass grow. However, as Danjal notes, even the iOS version could be activated, and interacted with, it's just all their progress was lost. The fact that many users were then unwilling to continue trying to use the software was not indicative of its functional capability, but their interest in bothering with repeating largely linear, time intensive interactions with the software. If they enjoy it, sure, call it playing, but for everyone else repeated behavior rarely retains its enjoyability. It becomes routine procedures, more than anything. A lot of iOS users weren't even able to launch the game in the weeks between the release of iOS 8 and the release of our compatibility patch - Godus would crash at launch or simply refuse to load. In that sense, the game was very much unplayable. This is why we felt it was necessary to give a few free gems - an item that's already available for free on PC - to affected users (and to affected users only). On this note, PC has suffered from all these problems as well. Multiple times in the last year. Minus the efforts to communicate progress on such issues or treat some significant 'unplayable' problems as a priority. But of course... PC is 'early access'. So fuck'em right? |

The Borg implant stuff is actually from a shot of Locutus but with Molyneux replacing Patrick Stewart, but yeah the contrast on Molyneux to make it appear more Borg pale does need tweaking, or perhaps the Borg aspect needs to just be made less dark. Original image:  I'd probably get a better result using a different source image for the Borg implant. |
