My pleasure. I just recognized that there are missing images in the september and november update as well but in each case only one. September: At the end of the update, the one with the medieval houses at night. November: A GIF showing the cloud movement. I've been able to fix part of the issues. Thanks for spotting those for me. Did you check all of them out? Does this mean the other ones aren't missing any pictures? One of them missing pictures was a 41.6 MB GIF. (!!!) Imgur has been "optimizing" it for the last 20 minutes, not that I asked them to. Have to wait until all of that is done and it succeeds before I can fix the last of the issues you spotted. I didn't check all the updates, only those which actually display development details. Of course there is still the possibility that I might have missed something, but I was as thorough as possible!

Okay. Just got out of bed and Imgur was still "optimizing" the GIF. I don't think they really were though.
Pretenders!
Trying the upload again...

I'm really looking forward to being able to play this once it's done with Alpha. I hope I don't miss the Beta invite when they send it.

The team released a new update yesterday regarding the planet editor tool. I think it most probably answers your question about the sizes of the biomes. Oh, and I'm sure you won't miss the beta release. I'll point you to it! *wiplash*

Hey 13thGeneral. The game designer just posted this here regarding the planet size: Yeah, it doesn't answer the question if there will be planets with different sizes, but i think that this will be the case somewhen in the future!

That's what I gathered from that statement. Glad they're taking the feedback and taking some time to further work on getting things right.

Hey guys, sorry, I was super busy trying to get as much ready as I could for E3. I responded to the thread Planet Size with some info about sizing and biomes. Feel free to ask for clarifications or other info!

Roumsen The news about the next stretch goal was posted on the Universim website 6 days ago and I only spotted it now. As our resident Universim know it all I would have expected you to inform us of these things.

Considering the big announcement that Crytivo made recently, there is surprisingly little discussion about it going on at the official Universim forum. I even made a thread about it over there. And then one of the developers made a thread about it too, but still not much discussion.

Well, I simply have nothing to say. The concerns have been voiced, and the encouragement is also obvious.

I've been asked in private message on the universim forum to stop diverting people to this forum. They also want me to remove the link to this forum from my signature. The reason is apparently because they can't control the information on this forum.
I must say I am quite surprised. As a company which claims to hold openness and cooperation in high regard, how could they have illusions about controlling information on the internet?
This gives me an unpleasant feeling. All I did was greet a new member on their forum who said that he recently discovered The Universim and that he was looking up information about it all over the place. I told him that I had been doing the same and that he could find a lot of information here conveniently grouped together.
I spent a lot of time gathering and organising all this information and linking it all to the respective sources, specifically for the convenience of others and to the benefit of all.
After the communications there have been between myself and other members with Crytivo staff both here and on the Universim forum, I thought we had something going. Now it seems Crytivo would rather go down the cencorship route. I thought they were better than this. Frankly I feel disappointed and somewhat unappreciated.

We haven't even got to the stage of bagging them. What is the relationship of Roumsen to Crytivo?

I actually haven't been back to the universim forum after I felt initial posts I made were just brushed off, but to be honest that may of just been how I felt about it. To come to you to ask that is somewhat suspicious, but people will find this place themselves either from interest or possible disappointment in official forums, as for Universim what do they have to hide, when will people learn you can't control social media in any form. They should embrace your work, there has been no negatives about universim that I have seem so far.

That is really weird. We haven't even got to the stage of bagging them. What is the relationship of Roumsen to Crytivo? I'm just a volunteering mod. For sure I'm talking with some guys every now and then, but actually not about these kind of things. Hey I'm a backer in the first place and my intention is to help my fellow backers as good as I can. Next thing is to take care of the forum and as the kind guy who I am, I also try to help even on a different forum. For Lord Ba'al: While I personally can't see any disadvantages of this place here or mentioning this forum on the official one, I can't speak for Crytivo or the person who told you so. Tbh I'm surprised as well. But I'm not sure if I could be of any help. (PM?)
