Now that this is on steam I have gotten back into it and I am really enjoying it so far. When I first picked it up again on steam It took me a while that I had to do a bit of match making to keep my pop growing. That and a tornado rolling through me village hurt my pop a lot. But once I figured out using the love power got me more people and and helped improve my faith I was able to make it farther.
I just started a new game last night to try at the new patched that added crime, laws and a leader I had a pleasant surprise in after I built my first two buildings they built a temple. I can now see how my faith is growing or not and I can sacrifice nuggets to it for more power. have not gone to far in this play through yet. SO have not tried laws or crime. They have also added exiles so there will be more then just my village in time on the planet.

Far from it yet. We are still only up to the middle ages yet. But for me it is still many ours of play. I have yet to really get out of the stone age. I have researched maybe half ot the tech try the last time before I had to start over due to the newest patch.
Last night I had my first raid by a rival village. As I had no defensive structures yet I was flinging attackers left and right till I remembered I had lightening. Then I started using that taking out 3 or 4 of my own buildings. LOL

I think so yes. Looks nice and progress is being made. This video is before the latest patch but gives you an idea how it plays.
